We saw this on Fox and Friends a few months ago and while at our place in Myrtle Beach stopped in. The second my husband, who served in Germany and the USAF in the early 60’s, said it took his breath away. From WWII to the current who are serving memorabilia lined the walls. In all Bill’s years he rarely talks about his service but you could see in his eyes and silent walking around the displays that he was going back in time. First, of you are a veteran or even not please stop by this location and enjoy a simple meal. I enjoyed the Hot Dog and cucumber salad 5 ⭐. Bill had the breakfast special Sunny Side, Link Sausage and two pancakes…he enjoyed so 5 ⭐. Selection while not large is great for any breakfast or lunch. Parking is plenty full as it is located in a strip mall just off 707. Julie, who runs the place, filled us in with all the great work that they do with veterans. Regretfully our government seems to be more interested in illegals as opposed to veterans as much of what this little group is doing is through local donations of products and labor. Hours are getting settled as the location is new so suggest you check. All we can say is we will be steady customers every time we are in Myrtle Beach and hope you also frequent VWHRC.

It’s an absolutely amazing place to visit. From the moment you walk in until you walk out, you are immersed in memorabilia from all branches of the armed forces. The walls are covered with photos, news articles, personal notes and letters, commendations, service coins, mementos, G.I. Joe figurines, and much more. There is a small museum that houses a lending library, honor quilt, throws from various branches of the service, vintage military uniforms, and airplane models suspended from the ceiling. The Cafe’ serves breakfast and lunch foods. The staff we engaged with are veterans, it was an honor and privilege to chat with them. The owner is also a veteran. We donated photos and military papers for a Women’s Army Corps. The WAC was a branch of the United States Army that served during World War II. Thank you so much to the VWHRC Café & Museum for explaining the process of how you archive donated items and how you are updating the walls to display items in chronological order. Thank you for daily opening up the Café & Museum as a space for veterans to come in and be given a Heroes Welcome and conversate with friends in arms.

First time there with a Vietnam vet after the WW2 memorial dedication at Warbird Park.
Very simple comfort food which was good.
The place is a monument to our heroes. It’s a must go to place that is an awakening.

Stopped for lunch with a veteran friend. Sat at the counter and had some sandwiches. My wife had an Italian Sub and I had a Cheesesteak. The food was very good as was the service. The restaurant is filled with all manner of Vereran paraphernalia including uniforms, medals, weapons, books, pictures etc. Like a museum of the military experience, I could spend a lot if time in there looking around. Kudos to this place for recognizing the contributions and sacrifices our veterans have made for the country. Good job owners.

Really good food and service for a fair price. The Philly cheese steak is the best around. If you’re a veteran, care for a veteran, or support veterans then this is a great place to go! The decor is like a military museum.

Outstanding place to stop!! The artifacts are absolutely incredible, it has anything and everything military displayed, all which has been donated to the owners for many years. The staff is extremely friendly as are most of the local regulars who come in. Everybody’s got a story so it’s a great place to sit, listen and learn. It was a very heart warming experience and the food was really good too!
