Great food and really nice wait staff. The times I went it wasn’t super busy so it was quite quiet. The food is a little expensive but you go SO MUCH! Especially with a dinner or lunch special. Absolutely love this place and would recommend if your looking for some good Chinese food

This place is excellent. The food tastes great, and the hostess (maybe owner?) is always so nice. We had shrimp lo mein, general tsos chicken, hot and sour soup, and egg rolls. Absolutely no complaints about the food.
The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. The decorations suit the place nicely (especially the giant shrimp painting).
We will definitely be back!

I have worked in the restaurant biz for 16+ years and many of those jobs were Chinese, this wonderful palace of flavor ran by only TWO people is simply the BEST and most authentic Chinese cuisine you will find in the whole of the state and basically the Midwest, Trust me, I have been to many around this part of the country, as it is my go to dine out choice and I travel alot. First experience was awful. Very bland food. Moo shu beef had only a couple of pieces of beef. So the veggie moo shu with beef flavor was just ok. Orange chicken was beyond soggy with little flavor. Give a 2 star just because delivery was super quick. Definitely will wait a few months before we try this place again. Yen ching will stay as top quick Chinese place in Cedar Rapids.

This place is my favorite restaurant, the Owner is such a beautiful soul, She is so nice! And Everybody that works there. The food is so yummy and So delicious, I come here two times a week If I can. She appreciates your Business so much and She makes me so happy every time I walk in the door. They have the best Sesame chicken, Their Crab Rangoons are so yummy! The Fried Dumplings are So amazing! Wonderful restaurant for homemade Chinese dinners! I stopped in after work and ordered the Cashew Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice and Egg Rolls! Food was delicious and speedy! Owner met me at the door and greeted me warmly! Definitely worth coming back!
