Luxury Chaos
We started with the trio dip appetizer, which ended up being the highlight of the meal. The chips were warm, fresh, and nicely seasoned. The queso had good flavor, but if it had been creamier and served hotter it would have easily been a 10/10.

The menu concept was a bit confusing since it combines tacos and sushi, two very different styles, but I was open to it if the execution was strong. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Our table ordered the birria, mahi mahi, chicken shawarma, and carne asada tacos, and none of them landed. The rice was hard and cold, and after about an hour wait the food arrived cold overall and very underwhelming. I took one bite from two tacos and couldn’t continue.

Our server, Lilly, was the standout of the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and handled everything professionally. She shared that the manager would only allow 50% off the food, which felt disappointing considering how little was actually eaten.

At roughly $50 per person, the experience didn’t match the price point. Sadly, I won’t be recommending this spot.

Just had an incredible meal at the Blind Owl restaurant! The food was truly amazing, exceeding all expectations. I absolutely recommend trying their house-style fries; they are a must-have! For a starter, the Chicken Sharma nachos were a perfect choice, packed with flavor. I’m already planning my next visit for another delightful dining experience. #BlindOwl #Foodie #RestaurantReview #MustTry #Delicious

This place was so good! Here’s what I ordered:
Chips and salsa (pineapple chipotle salsa)
Lamb tacos
Red dragon sushi roll
Tiramisu
Sprite

First of all the atmosphere was very solid! It was slightly crowded because we went on a Saturday but it was nice nonetheless.

The chips and salsa was very nice.

The Lamb tacos were delectable! Very fresh, well done, and pretty seasoned. I do have one critique though, the melted cheese under the tortilla tasted weird but it was very tolerable. The lamb was amazing and the slaw they put on there is EVERYTHING

The red dragon roll was delicious!! Very fresh and so satisfying to eat.

The tiramisu is to die for! It was chilled to perfection and every bite tasted like I was in heaven.

The service was good and other waitresses/waiters helped us even when they weren’t in our section. They’re also very helpful to us. I completely understand that our waitress had a lot of people in our section but she still accommodated us!

Overall decent score 8.7/10 ⭐️

I enjoyed the food tonight. Only thing no hostess and still had to wait on server. Even after receiving our food she disappeared. We were hoping to order dessert but server didnt come back to check on us till after kitchen closed. Coming from a server of several years of private clubs, wedding venues, A-Listers always check on your guest and inform them what time kitchen closes. Appearing only to collect money that included automatic gratuity isn’t fair to the guest. I know service can be better that that because the food and environment is amazing, the service should align with everything as well. It was only two of us I’m starting to think we were over charged with the automatic gratuity correct me if im wrong.

Good atmosphere. Plenty of space. Our group was there on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant wasn’t full or very busy and yet the food took FOREVER to come out. It came out at different times even though we ordered at the same time.

My taquitos were tasty and my fresh espresso martini was done right as well.

Auto tip is added to each check.

This place was such a nice find for date night! We started with the chips and salsa which was so flavorful, the chips are made fresh and topped with tajin and the salsa was bright. My boyfriend got the boom shaka lacka burger which was very juicy and had a good egg yolk. I ordered miso soup and the spider sushi roll. The miso had a good broth and the spider roll had a great flavor profile. Overall nice place and we might be back for brunch!

Loved the atmosphere here, such a great vibe visually and just overall. We started with the crispy Brussels as an appetizer which were solid.

I chose the house tacos (tequila lime mahi-mahi and halloumi cheese and mango). While I wasn’t particularly impressed with either of these, I did spot more choices for my next visit in the menu visuals displayed throughout the restaurant. He chose the blazin’ shrimp, carne salsa and lamb braisin’ birria which were solid.

The service was exceptional (server Joey T.). It’s worth noting that an 18% tip was already included on the bill for our party of two. While we usually tip more ourselves, it was a bit unusual to see it automatically added. We will return regardless.

Would give 10000000 stars if I could. EVERYTHING was excellent from the flavorful chips and salsa, the flavors of the different toppings on the salad with the house made ranch and let’s not forget the perfected Alfredo… not drowning with sauce, not dry. Nothing can damper my night after this meal. Chefs kiss!

Well, I’ve never been there before, so my daughter and I decided to give it a try. Really liked the interior layout. Looked really nice. It has an outside eating area, but it’s November, a little too chilly for that. Waitress was prompt and friendly. We liked that. I don’t know why, but I loved that instead of just bringing two glasses of water to the table, they bring you a couple of glasses, and water in an old glass milk jug. Food didnt take that long when we ordered it. Of course we were keeping in mind that it was a Saturday night and they were pretty busy. My food was very good. I ordered something I normally wouldn’t, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The next time we’re down in Royal oak, we will hit this place up again.

it was warm and sunny fall day, which is the perfect time to hit the outdoor dining scene in Royal Oak.
But we wanted to try something new…and Google led us here.

This place looks like it hops on a weekend night, but we were there for lunch on a weekday afternoon so it was pretty chill. Our server was Jeremy and he was great – friendly, detailed oriented, knowledgeable and attentive – we couldn’t ask for anything more.

We split the flautas and the fajitas and both were very good. I’m not sure how they seasoned the shrimp for the fajitas, but it was very tasty, which is good, because the chicken was a little dry.

Overall, a really positive experience.

And I can’t forget this: several reviews I read before our visit commented on how clean the bathrooms were. I don’t usually cover stuff like that in my reviews but I had to check these out…and they definitely lived up to the hype!
