The place is beautiful and charming, perfect for a romantic dinner. Our server was helpful and very attentive. As for the food, it was delicious! We have the mixed lasagna as well as the gnocchi and they were both super good. Our favorite had to be the lasagna though, we could not get enough of it. We will definitely come back soon.

What an absolute dream. Perfect date night.
Kylie, our server was magnificent. A1 service even out in the rain (we were covered). The food and wine were divine. 10/10 recommend

Oggi’s is one of those rare spots that makes you slow down and savor. Every dish feels handcrafted with love — from the rustic pastas to the rich, slow-simmered sauces. The flavors are bold yet comforting, the portions generous, and the service warm and genuine. Whether you’re diving into their Pollo al Forno with sausage or a classic bowl of pasta, Oggi’s delivers that perfect balance of homestyle heart and refined flavor. A true gem on Davis Islands.

I was Looking forward to veal parm. Ordered it but somehow it turned into chicken parm on the way to our table. Not a huge problem as the server was very sweet and apologetic. My wife had the special, Blackened shrimp pasta Alfredo……. Winner….. it was great. Had a killer 8 dollar glass of wine. Great price. We went early…. Lotza kids. It was noisy. Waitress gave us a cannoli OTH for the order mistake, wifey had Tiramisu…… out of this world ! One problem , this dish. Chef who plated this meal and runner who brought it should have seen this chipped dish. All in all great food, service was polite, atmosphere was “busy.” Check your plates!!!!!!! You’re almost perfect !

I came to Oggi Italian expecting a nice dinner. I left questioning why I haven’t proposed to a veal Parmesan before.

Let me tell you—this veal didn’t just arrive, it made an entrance. It was tender, cheesy, and sauced like it just came back from a spa weekend in Tuscany. My fork practically whispered “thank you” every time it touched the plate. And the Super Tuscan red wine? Let’s just say if that wine were a person, I’d let it meet my parents.

The atmosphere was cozy and romantic enough to make you forget you’re one bad decision away from spilling marinara on your shirt. Our server treated us like long-lost cousins who finally made it home from culinary exile.

Oggi is proof that carbs are a love language—and I am fluent. 10/10, would veal again.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant, and I will say that our service from Kylie and the quality of food absolutely, 100% saved this from being an otherwise unpleasant experience. My friends and I came for my birthday dinner from Sarasota, about an hour and fifteen minutes away. I had called a few days prior to our reservation date asking if we could add two more to our party, because some friends that were originally not going to be able to attend ended up being able to after all. I was told that with the current seating situation and other reservations it wouldn’t be possible, but that they would put a note on the reservation and contact me if something changed. Completely understandable! I never received a call, so I told the two additional friends that unfortunately there wouldn’t be room at the table, and I didn’t want to risk not being seated or causing a scene at the restaurant if they came and weren’t able to be seated. When we got to the restaurant, however, the table was set for 12 rather than 10, and I had no idea. This wouldn’t have been a huge deal if we didn’t live an hour away, and I completely understand that the restaurant couldn’t possibly know this, but to not have been contacted regarding the situation was quite frustrating, as I wish I could have had my friends there to celebrate with me.

That being said, the staff was very apologetic about the situation, and like I said, our service from Kylie and the absolutely AMAZING food we had really did make up for the original frustration.

To the manager/owner, I would simply recommend educating or informing your staff of follow-up procedures so that if a similar situation occurs, another party doesn’t have to go through the same frustrations. That being said, I will absolutely come back here for other occasions. Thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable!

Atmosphere was great. What a lovely night to sit outdoors and enjoy the weather. Our server was very good. I hate to leave a “meh” review, but that’s really what the food deserved. The chicken marsala had little to no marsala taste, the chicken was tough. I wish I could say something nicer.

Just had my first experience here. I will start off my saying the atmosphere, setting, and decor are all amazing and I do think this is a great place to come with some friends for a couple of drinks. But as an actual restaurant I am beyond disappointed. First I had a reservation set on Tuesday for a Saturday dinner and when I showed up they said they can either sit me at the bar or a table but only if me and my fiancée are done in an hr which I think is a pretty ridiculous choice for someone who had a reservation set for 5 days. As an app I ordered the mozzarella wheel and all I can say is this was not mozzarella. It’s was dry and bitter almost more like a provolone taste than mozzarella. I did return this and they did remove it from my bills so no harm no foul. I then ordered the Marsala as an entre and this was also just not good as at all. Marsala is supposed to have dark color and have a sauce like texture but this was just a bland watery soup like sauce. And the worse part the server didn’t even bother to ask me if I liked it or not when I clearly only ate 1 bite. All in all just very unhappy to spend 80$ and leave without eating one bite of food.

Oggi occupies the space formerly held by Yeoman’s Road Pub, which was always a treat to go to for many years. Despite years having passed – this was our first time visiting here since the spot changed to the current restaurant.

We sat out on the patio as the temperature was hovering around a comfortable 65 degrees. The entire restaurant was romantically lit with warm lighting, the patio was especially tasteful as restaurants on Davis Islands have a certain outdoor ambiance to them. Admittedly the patio was slightly loud, as it is very narrow – however I don’t think there is anything they can do about given how its size. After one party left, the patio quieted down significantly as they were much more boisterous than the others.

The waitress was handling the packed patio like a pro, she was very kind and checked in on us quite often. We had a reservation and were promptly sat down immediately upon arrival. We parked behind the restaurant, which is open to the restaurant’s patio.

When it comes to the food, I think they bring out free bead to your table – but we ordered the bruschetta appetizer before realizing this. I recommend asking the server if they bring out complimentary bread, something we should have done. Our meal was otherwise perfect in terms of quality, my meal in particular was very special – I got the Pistachio Crusted Cutlet with chicken, it had a wonderful texture and was my first time having pistachio with chicken in this way. It was served on a base of spaghetti noodles, they are my favorite kind of noodle so I may be a little biased towards them. My partner got the Scallops Scampi, which he thoroughly enjoyed (I’m allergic to shellfish so I did not try it).

I paired my meal with Jermann Sauvignon Blanc, my partner with Margherita Pinot Noir. We finished the meal with their Tiramisu – which was larger than anticipated.

We felt that the prices were fair and it ended up less than $100 per person (also the wine was a major chunk of that).

Ultimately, this was an amazing dinner and we will be back.
