Tucked away in Hinkley MN is a comfy little place that serves standard American Mexican food. The one person we saw working was incredibly friendly and fast. The chips and salsa were delicious. I think the food itself was tailored a bit to the traditional Minnesotan pallet, so though it was of great quality it lacked flavor. I added hot sauce to everything and that helped. Their menus were packed with choices which was nice to see and were printed well. The resteraunt was very clean and inviting. I’d visit again if in the area!

Everything was good, until the bill arrived. The prices didn’t match up with the menu. The lady running the place charged an extra $1 for the chicken wings(menu said $7.99 for 5 wings she charged $8.99. My son ordered something with chicken and shrimp, I can’t remember the name, the menu said $14.99 she charged $16.99) When I asked her if she made a mistake she said no, food is so expensive the prices went up. She said they they were getting new menus in 2 months. I told her you can’t charge extra, you have to charge the price on the menu. That’s not right, that’s false advertising and you are cheating people. She told me everyone that comes here is happy until you came here and did this! We argued for about 5 minutes before she threw the menu down and said ok! Ok! And she changed our bill. I caution everyone to look at their bill and make sure the prices match what’s on the menu. If her menu prices are not the same, she should tell people before they order or change her menus. Don’t defraud the people!

Very cute authentic Mexican restaurant. Came in hungry on our way home to Minneapolis an hour to close with 3 kids and we were welcomed. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was great, no complaints at all and they listened to when I said I couldn’t have cheese or sour cream. Everything came out perfect. Didn’t have a margarita but regretted it after my husband and I saw some come out- they look huge!
My six year old was insistent we leave them a good review. My husband and I will be back for a date night and margaritas.

The service was wonderful very kind staff. I’m surprised the restaurant didn’t have more patrons inside. When you arrive they bring you chips which you can tell are house-made nice warm and fresh. Me and my family went and ordered multiple things which all were great. Me and my father ordered the strawberry margaritas which were wonderful. The lady who was our server was wonderful very kind and always checking to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Overall a wonderful experience I would give more starts if possible. Definitely would recommend and will be returning!

Took 30 minutes to put in our food order, received the wrong meat for the taco salad. The server dropped our food off and we sat there with no utensils. Once I received the right meat for my taco salad there was so much juice from the meat it was like soup. I couldn’t eat it, the shell was soggy and came with no cheese.

Cute place. Very good food. I’ve never been through hinkley before, besides right next to the highway. It’s a little depressing. But this is a nice little bright spot. Hope they do well, or make enough money to get a place next to the 35 ramps.

We ordered our food our server had to come back about 2 more times to get the order right than the lady in the back had to come to out table to get our order correctly. Than it took about 15 minutes just to be able to order a beer this place is trash and also there pricing on there menus in the restaurant are not correct. But they said they haven’t got there new menus and we were never informed about it not being the correct pricing. Lady also just sat on her phone watching dancing videos. Meat was dry and overcooked.

A huge improvement over the restaurant that was there before!!! They have a large menu of both food and drinks, despite only having around a dozen tables and booths. Both food and drinks were good and our server was friendly. We got chimichangas and seafood enchiladas, and the chimichangas were better than the enchiladas. We will definitely go back and try more of their dishes.
