Just great people who work here, and when I forgot to order pepperoni they were so nice! I called and they fixed my order and were so accommodating. We don’t often get good customer service without being an angry Karen (I avoid this at all costs) but I love letting people know: THESE PEOPLE ARE NICE!

Got two small pizzas and wings last night. Food was kept warm for me even late coming to pick it up. I arrived a few minutes after they closed and the guy working was beyond friendly. Had a nice brief conversation with him and the food was out of this world good. I’ll be going back here regularly! Thanks for going above and beyond with amazing food!

I lived in Chicago for years and loved Lou’s pizza. Coming back to the area I was excited to treat myself to some deep dish again…this was not deep dish, this was awful.
I ordered delivery and the sticker on the box had heating instructions, because the pizza wasn’t even warm. Not only that, but there was a gap, nearly an inch wide, between the lip of the crust and the filling.
The filling was basically a slab of sausage, a little cheese, and a little sauce.
Considering the $40+ I paid after tip, I am more than disappointed.
Never again.

On the busiest of nights, Bears Playoff game….Door Dash dropped the ball and lost my food before delivering. I called the store and Denny, the manager, got on the phone to help me out. He took time to make it right even with the stress of volume going on around him. That kind of customer service is hard to find and much appreciated. Thank you.

There was a live black bug in our salad on 10/15/25. Feel lucky that I spotted it when I went to toss the dressing in and did not eat any of the food from this order.
They gave us a refund without hassle but I can never eat from this restaurant ever again. Such a bummer, this was one of the few places that had decent pizza in the area.

Love the food and the people that took care of us at the counter. My wife and I were in town so I could have surgery the next day. This place was recommended by some of our friends and it did not disappoint. The man, who i think was the owner, was kind enough to give me a piece tiramisu for my wife. She loved it. I had the The Lou deep dish. It was amazing. Definitely recommend. This was a takeout location so order ahead!

I understand that deep dish pizza has grease. This is not grease. Due to the “freshness of the toppings” and its also “tomato juice”. I’m still gonna eat it because I’m hungry and I have paper towels, but this does not look like tomato juice.

I’ve been eating Lou’s since I was a little girl. This was the worst “butter crust” I have gotten. The bottom of the crust was underdone and the crust that runs around the outside of the pizza was super thin, very hard, and flavorless. Seems like they forgot the butter or something. This was not the deep dish pizza I am used to.
