Tacos and Beer has a casual atmosphere and a decent menu, but the experience didn’t fully live up to expectations. The quesadilla itself was good and had a generous portion of meat, which was a plus and filling for the price. However, the food came out not hot.
For what you get, the prices feel a bit high, especially considering the temperature and execution. It’s not a bad spot, but there’s room for improvement if they want the price point to match the quality.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food with super friendly service. The guacamole is made fresh, and all the salsas and sauces have amazing flavor with just the right amount of spice. Definitely a hidden gem in Centerton! They’ve even expanded with a bar area that has draft beer, which makes it an even better spot to hang out.

Ordered the Torta Cubana and Strawberry Tres Leches to go over the phone. Was advised it’d take approx 15-20 min and it was ready in the promised time once I arrived. Staff was polite and friendly. They made sure I had my choice of salsa before I left.
The taste of the food is good. However, I gave the food a 4/5 because I believe the price does not line up with the food.
The Torta was lacking on filling. It was fairly flat, had little avocado, and had half the meat of what i’d expect when comparing it to other restaurants in NWA that serve their version of a Cubana around this price point. I also requested no tomato, was read back my order with no tomato, yet received tomato.
The Tres Leches was a little soggier than i’d prefer, but everyone has their preference. It was good, but more like $4.99 per piece vs the $7.99 they’re asking.
I would’ve felt more comfortable spending ~$18 vs the $23 I spent.

The tacos are so good. Extremely authentic and fresh. Family owners are nice and just simple fun spot to enjoy tacos. Been coming here since they opened. Love it so much come once a week.

I wanted to like this place, but the experience was just okay overall. The food itself wasn’t bad, but the portions were smaller than expected for the price, and the flavors didn’t really stand out. It felt a bit lazy, like something I’ve definitely had done much better elsewhere.
The service also played a big part in the experience. The person at the front didn’t really engage much and wasn’t very welcoming, which made the atmosphere feel a little awkward especially for someone dining in. It wasn’t rude exactly, but it didn’t feel friendly either, and that takes away from the experience.
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t leave me wanting to come back. With better portions, more care in the food, and a warmer customer experience, this place could improve a lot.

I really like this place. The food is made fresh so it’s worth it to wait a little longer for it. And it’s kind of hit and miss for them to make it how i want it because I am still new so I don’t know how they make their recipes. So I’ll order food and then if it’s not already perfect then next time I’ll ask for a few changes, such as light salt in the guac or more papas in my burrito so it’s a better ratio of egg to potato. I love their tortillas and their chips. Alcohol drinks are ok too. The staff is polite and they work hard and calmly. Chill vibes and good eats.

What a fabulous spot, the staff is extremely friendly. The food is phenomenal, this has quickly become my go to spot for burritos. The California burrito is 10/10 and their green sauce has to be home made. It’s perfectly spicy, smoky and flavourful.
Ask for the California burrito, you can’t go wrong!
