This is my second time here it’s just as good as the first time. It’s cooked to order and there is more rice under the chicken. It’s enough for two servings maybe even three. Their eggrolls are yummy and the veggies in it have been fresh both times. I got the general tsos with white rice and eggroll it’s the combo. Very good food honestly no complaints

The portions are huge, and the dishes are delicious. The prices are inexpensive. It’s really an excellent place to eat. In the photo, you can see half of my dish after I had already eaten. We finished the soups, but we couldn’t even finish the noodles and rice. And I love to eat! Still, there was too much food.

OK, let me tell you about this hidden gem called Happy China. They’re located in Eastland Shopping Center(Off Winchester Rd, Lexington, KY, right next door to Save-A-Lot. My family has been eating at this restaurant for over 25 years STRAIGHT. We’ve had Celebratory dinners, Birthdays etc by means of Happy China. They make you feel like family, folks. You can’t get that everywhere. Seriously, the people in the restaurant KNOW my order by heart. They know my face and my name. They are super friendly. You get HUGE portions. We have, YET, to get a bad order. I can’t speak highly enough, about the restaurant. They deserve every single accolade! They’re on DoorDash!
If you’re out and about, doing a little shopping, in Eastland Shopping Center or trying to figure out what to have for . I recommend giving Happy China a try. You won’t regret it. The atmosphere is so peaceful and calm. It might hold 12-15 people(booth seats) plus 3 seats for people waiting for their pickup order. So, if you go, tell them Tanya a.k.a ‘General Tso Extra, Extra Spicy with Chili Peppers’ sent you !

We were visiting from out of town and got takeout here for an easy meal. Food was delicious, fairly priced and portioned, and fresh. The people were very friendly, sent a text when the food was ready (which was quick!) and even included doughnuts and a scroll style wall calendar which is super cool! Would 110% recommend this place and will definitely be back next time we’re in Lexington!

Best take out I’ve had in years. We’re in town for a UK game and have been here for both dinners. Not only will we be taking home leftovers, but we will be grabbing a ton to take home for next week. Crab Rangoon, Wonton Soup, and Szechuan Beef are insane. Their prices are unbelievable for the quality.

BEST CHINESE TAKEOUT EVER.
I wanted some good chinese takeout after a long day and all I can say is WOW. I got the orange chicken, vegetable lo mein and the egg drop soup. They even threw in some fried chinese sugar donuts. The food was hot and fresh and sooooo fabulous. I’ll definitely be back and I also recommend this place highly. I never do reviews but this place deserved it. ❤️

I have lived in Lexington almost my whole life and this is my favorite Chinese food in Lexington. The steamed dumplings are one of my favorite foods of all time! Everything always taste fresh and the prices are unbeatable, especially the lunch specials. I usually order pickup and they always prepare the food promptly, and the staff is very kind. Happy China rules!
