Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I would love to give a review on the food but I’ve tried 3 times to get breakfast here and have yet to get any. I have stopped in my home from work 3 separate times over the last month, on each occasion when ordering biscuit sandwiches, I am good that they have (or not enough) biscuits for my order and will be a wait while they make them. I was told this morning that they dry out so they don’t keep up on them. Done trying, both McDonald’s and Burger King have no problem having food prepped and ready.

Came through the drive thru. Had to repeat each part of our 3 meal order at least twice at the menu. Paid, and was told to pull forward to wait for fresh onion rings. Opened bag, no onion rings or spicy ketchup that we asked for so we had to go in to ask for both. Got home, wrong bread and add-ons. Will not be returning.

The place was clean and the food was fresh. I ordered the bacon burger meal once at midnight and another time at 1 pm.
Both times I choose not to have no mustard or pickles. I got my burgers quickly and both times they were fresh and delicious. (These are not little burgers!)
Both times my fries were hot and delicious.
The inside of the resturaunt was very clean and the person at the register taking my order was very nice.
This has become my favorite burger place. Unfortunately I dont live in a place that has a Whataburger so I will have to wait til Im in KC again.

It’s January, winter in Kansas. Cold days outside, but shouldn’t a restaurant be warm and welcoming on the inside? I say yes!!
The dining area was cold as a fridge. Why? The guests should be comfortable while eating. Thank goodness the food was hot and fresh, but not for long. I know the weather can’t be controlled, but the inside can be. I probably should have eaten in my vehicle. It probably would be warmer.

The chicken fajita wrap is delicious plenty of chicken was juicy andvwell seasoned and could have added more bell peppers for my liking . The apple pie was also tasty with a warm crust. I’ve had whataburburger’s burger before not here yet. When I was in Texas I tried the chicken fajita wrap and had to have another one once back in Kansas. Next I’ll try the burger here and hope it lives up to Texas Whataburburger.

We came here for dinner around 5:50 pm, and there was no drive-thru line at all — it was quick, just as it should be. I’m guessing the other reviews about long waits were referring to the dinner rush, because we didn’t have to wait at all. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I didn’t love the chicken wings, but the burger was seriously good.

After getting home from picking up an order I realized I was missing an item. Calling the restaurant, Mikey was extremely helpful and let me know we could come back in any time. I ran back to the restaurant the next day and the entire staff was nothing but friendly. Amazing environment and team

Went thru the drive-thru and tried to order a single patty on the Wrangler burger, but wasn’t able to clearly communicate this to the order taker, so skipped and got the BaconBurger instead.
When I pulled to the window it was a short stare off contest as there was no greeting, no repeat of the total, just eye-contact and silence; until I initiated the total to be repeated so i could offer exact change. Not the best customer service, but it just lacked genuine “care”.
Prickly pear lemonade was great! Very refreshing. Food was hot ! Perfect for freshness and burger was good. Appreciate the accuracy with removal of items. #TeamNoOnion

So far the best whataburger I’ve ever been to! The store manager Mikie Zuniga is so sweet and his service was amazing! The store was clean, the food was good, and all the employees were so friendly. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend coming here!
