Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I Love Whataburger. Couldn’t wait for this location to open.
The double Whataburger is the best where the beef is always fresh. The breakfast menu is awesome. My favorite is the chicken biscuit with honey sauce, the egg and bacon taquito with picante sauce. Breakfast on a bun is a bun with egg and sausage patty. And is paired great with hash brown sticks.
Breakfast is served from 11pm till 11 am.

This Whataburger has a long way to go unfortunately. You walk in and the atmosphere is absolutely sterile. No indication that this will be a fun place to eat. It looks more like a corporation cafeteria than a burger joint. Ordering was ok at the counter. The drink area was messy and dirty. Napkin holder was empty. One of the ice tea containers was empty. They give you a number and bring your food to you. My burger was mildly tasty but was medium warm if that. I was expecting a piping hot burger. Didn’t happen. Fries were awful. No flavor. There are no condiments out. We had to go ask for ketchup. Why aren’t condiments out? A girl finally walked around with a small tray of condiments. No salt and pepper anywhere. A cold burger, crappy french fries and bad service I will not go back unless I hear things have changed. This place has promise but they need an onsite enthusiastic manager to make a lot of changes. It seems like they are trying to get by with bare minimum.

The meal was fantastic — we ordered several different items for the family, and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. It was a great change of pace from the usual options in town, and the team outside created a really positive and welcoming atmosphere.
However, the drive-through cashier, Lilliana M., noticeably took away from the overall experience. Her attitude and lack of friendliness stood out, especially compared to the rest of the staff. A simple smile or positive demeanor goes a long way in customer service. If customer interaction isn’t her strength, perhaps a position in the back of house would be a better fit.
Overall, the food and most of the team were great, and we’ll be back — but I hope the front-line customer experience improves.

This brings NO Texas memories at all of the toasted burger buns and fixings!! Burgers have represented well with Texas made sizes for reasonable prices, plenty of delicious menu items to choose from. Finally Whataburgers have arrived in NC and hope they make a huge Texas splash in the coming years!

Should of stayed in texas. burger always comes out cold. takes 45 mins to get a mid burger at best and always get something wrong or missing. on top of all of that they rush you through your ordering and then make you wait and mess it up. only plus is its something to eat 24 hours a day. trust me if we had 24hr mcdonalds i would never consider what a burger.

Waited 20 minutes for our food dining in. The food came out cold with no flavor as well. No condiments were with the food even though we requested there be. The fries were cold as well. I would not waste 20 minutes again waiting for food here. It seemed like everyone dining it was waiting a long time for their food and kept sending it back.

Went through the drive thru for a little over 30 minutes to just get two sandwiches. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which I love their food. However the lettuce was wilted and brown and not what I’d ever serve anybody. From someone who used to have ServSafe certification, do better and pay attention on what you’re serving your guest. This location has potential, get rid of the weak links and get people who actually love the brand and care. I know it’s hard but this is just not good so far. Especially with the last few recent reviews being so bad.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Made our order wrong the first time, drove 15 minutes home to a completely wrong order. Once we got there, they still remade the order wrong. I guess they were upset once we sent it back in a second time because our burgers were a mess! They slapped 3 slices of cheese on 1 patty, and there was a large amount of sauce on it. This was our second time here but we won’t be back due to reoccurring issues. Our first experience was horrible as well
