Absolutely incredible, authentic Cuban food. I’ve spent years looking for a place like this in Washington, and I feel so lucky to have finally found it.
From the moment you read the menu—and especially once you taste the food—you can tell that every dish has been carefully crafted to stay true to the flavors of real Cuban cuisine. I ordered the Pastelito de Carne, and it was outstanding. The seasoned ground beef, which is essential to a great pastelito, instantly transported me back home. It truly felt like that unforgettable scene in Ratatouille when the critic tastes the food and is carried away by flavor and memory.
Then came the Croquetas, the Lechón, the Ropa Vieja (my favorite dish of all time), the black beans, and the mojo. I was able to try all of this by ordering the Tour of Havana, which was amazing and something I recommend 100%. The drinks were just as delicious, and the Coco Flan for dessert was stunning.
Beyond the food, the people who run this place make it truly special. From Esther, who welcomes you with a big smile, to Miriam, the cook we briefly had the pleasure of meeting, to Kristina, the owner. With the help of her family, deep Cuban roots, and a genuine love for Cuban culture, she has created something truly special.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. If you’re looking for real, authentic Cuban food, do yourself a favor and check this place out. I’m officially a regular now.

I don’t know if I can love this place more. dinner atmosphere is wonderful in the counter service at lunch is really convenient. I could randomly order anything from the menu and it would be fabulous. The picadillo is my favorite but the Cuban is also wonderful . every dessert is awesome, the cranberry key lime special was wonderful.

I can not give this place any more stars. It’s so fantastic, & our first experience with proper Cuban (& Dominican) cuisine. Everything was outstanding, from the Lechon & Ropa Vieja, to the black beans & rice, classic Cuban sandwich, & ham (or chicken) croquettas. They should bottle the lime-cilantro crema; it cuts thru the richness of every dish with fresh garlicky goodness.
My long-simmering ground beef stew-like dish with raisins was amazingly complex, with black beans & rice. So flavorful.
Save room for dessert: coconut flan, abuela’s guava cheesecake, dulce de leche affogato, citrus olive oil cake, with a variety of coffees.
Service was fast & hospitable.
We ordered the Cuban sandwich with that great crema on the side & the Dominican red beans & rice to go.

This place is a gem! Easy parking, great location, great service, and amazing food! This is an instant favorite for Lynda and me! Easily the best Cubano I’ve ever had, and the pan con lechon is even better! The ropa vieja with Cuban black beans was delicious! Portions are generous. Highly recommend Mi Luna!

This is my first time coming here. Walking inside I notice the beautiful exterior and then the beautiful and lively interior with everyone happy and chatting. I have someone welcome me in and keep a watch out for open tables since it was full. The table I got had a bench with cushions and pillows?!
I ordered the pork bull and the guava juice. Man. Every ingredient of the pork bowl on its own was spectacular and it was magical all together. And the guava juice was incredibly refreshing and delicious. Amazing place.

we happened upon Mi Luna, the food was fantastic, music and vibe on point, and the staff are the sweetest. My husband mentioned it was my birthday and they brought the flan i ordered with a candle & wished me happy birthday. So kind, we will absolutely be making the trek from kent to come back & will recommend to all our friends!

Our server was Malikai was our server and for how busy the restaurant was, he was very attentive. He suggested the croquetas and said it was his favorites. They were amazing, along with the Lechon I ordered. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was amazinger.

My new favorite restaurant in Olympia! The restaurant has such an inviting atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had the Lechón, Pastelito de Carne, and finished of my meal with a slice of their coconut flan. All of the food was very tasty and seasoned well, the portion size was generous, and the staff were all super friendly. I highly recommend Mi Luna and I’m excited to explore more of the menu!

Wow! We held our “Friends & Family Dinner” at Mi Luna, and the entire experience was flawless. Everyone was blown away by the amazing food, top-notch customer service, and great beer/wine list. You can taste the authenticity and passion in every single bite.
It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience. We loved hearing the history of the restaurant and were so charmed by the kids’ art fundraiser (we bought a piece for our tattoo studio!).
We left stuffed, happy, and already planning our next visit. More restaurants need to take notice of what Mi Luna is doing. We will 100% be back. Do yourself a favor and just go—you won’t regret it.
