Having been a restauranteur for more than 30 years, I decided to embark on a new culinary journey. This time, it features a southern favorite; mouth watering variations of fried chicken! Soul soothing sides such as fried green tomatoes, as well as a mac & cheese recipe stamped by Oprah herself show up as key players on the menu. Add a bit of freshly squeezed, homemade strawberry lemonade and you’ve got a meal that rivals a family reunion. And of course, you’re invited!

I went against the reviews: The fried chicken was spot on and crispy and the cornbread sweet and fresh. However the collard greens were extremely over seasoned and the Mac and cheese is not southern, it’s more of a Cajun…. I am unsure how to describe it. I like the atmosphere and location. The staff were friendly.

Traveling from Massachusetts and came across this restaurant. Cook was super nice and helpful. Cashier was away and cook stepped up to take out order. Food was made fresh and very tasty. Chicken was greasy and Mac and cheese was cold but both very tasty and flavorful.

First and foremost I would like to shout out Ms. G and her family for the Southern Hospitality that they showed my GF and I. We visited all three locations on our short trip to Atlanta because my GF loved their candied yams and apparently so did everyone else this weekend!

Although I did enjoy the food, it can be pricey at $25 for 3 wings, 2 sides and cornbread.
The other two locations are in food halls as well. My favorite one is at Politan Row in Dunwoody.
I will definitely return when I’m in Atlanta again. I love to support Black businesses! Keep up the great work

So this was my first time visiting this restaurant. 3 years ago I went to the food hall with my friend Angela she got food from The Chicago hot dog place and I got food from The Philly cheese steak place that is diagonally across from this place. It was packed then with patrons at the table. The food is good and delicious! The fried chicken is crispy and crunchy. The greens are good the cornbread is delicious also. The Mac and cheese is the star of the plate also. Oprah Winfrey tasted the Mac and cheese in a contest I believe and told them that they need a restaurant and the rest is history. You can tell that the Mac and cheese is made with cheese, butter, milk and eggs like my mom does hers.I visited on 7/13/2025.

My true rating is 3.5 out 5. Customer service was excellent. There was a slight wait as the fried chicken was freshly cooked. The fried chicken was so good! Not many places can cook fried chicken so that the skin is crispy but the meat is still moist and not dry and it was hot. To me, the collard greens were very good even though were cooked without anything added. Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends. Nowadays, you just can’t find anyone to make a complete order of soul food where everything is delicious. The mac and cheese was barely lukewarm and to add salt to the wound, the cornbread was cold and slightly dry. These two things were very disappointing, especially for the price that I paid. If I decide to return, I will mention this to them prior to me ordering, and I suggest that you do the same.

I really like Delilah’s, and the mac and cheese is honestly the reason I keep coming back — and I still will. That said, the last few times I’ve ordered it, it’s been noticeably dry. For the price, I expect it to be richer and more moist, and lately it just hasn’t lived up to the expectations I know this place is capable of.
I’ll continue to come back because it’s convenient and close to where I live, and I genuinely want this spot to succeed. I just think the mac and cheese could be better and more consistent, because when it’s on, it’s great — and when it’s dry, it really misses the mark.

Delilahs is located in a food hall with great soul food. The prices were much higher than your usual soul food places in Atlanta but don’t let that deter you from eating there. The fried chicken was fried to perfection and the macaroni and cheese was amazing. The sweet potato were not good and the strawberry lemonade had too much pulp to drink through a straw.

Brenton has a wonderful customer service . He’s so friendly & has an infectious personality. The food was good,( overpriced )but good. Collards were juicy. Cornbread perfect consistency. Chicken fried how I like it! Yams were a little cold. But overall 4/5 stars!

The customer service is great. The food is fresh and hot. The chicken is cooked to order so don’t be in a hurry. While you wait walk around to check out the location. The chicken have a great taste with seasonings, macaroni and cheese is moist/cheesy, the collards are not my favorite but I ate them and the cornbread is good/moist. I would definitely recommend them. I’ll definitely be going back.
