We were greeted with smiles & seated promptly. Several patrons were enjoying their meal as well as a few people who sat at the bar having drinks.
Our server was very polite and attentive. She served our drinks and did not push us to order until we were ready.
The two appetizers we chose were delicious. The pancake had just the right amount of kick to it. The chutney complimented it very nicely.
The spring rolls were crispy and flavorful. Not greasy nor dry.
When duck is available on a menu, I always order it. Duck is one of my favorite dishes. I was not disappointed. The portion size was ample, enough to make a meal for the following day. The duck was accompanied by an orange glaze and a side of rice.
My Aunt thoroughly enjoyed the crispy shrimp which also came on a bed of rice.
We ordered the garlic spinach to share.
The one disappointment was that green tea ice cream was not available. My Aunt opted for vanilla ice cream. A slice of white cake was offered complimentary as a birthday treat.
I sipped on a glass of Merlot.
Overall we had a very pleasant and relaxing evening. I highly recommend JOY Asian Cuisine and look forward to experiencing another unique meal.

If you’re looking for the best place to eat in the desert, look no further than Joy Cuisine. Thank you, Noel, for making each meal a joy!
The menu is huge, featuring a wide variety of Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes.
You absolutely have to try their Sichuan chicken wings—crispy, packed with flavor, and totally addictive. Another dish you won’t want to miss is the seabass with black bean sauce. Trust me, you’ll love it!
But the true star of the meal was the Peking duck. Cooked to perfection, with crispy, golden skin on the outside and tender, juicy meat on the inside, it was everything you’d want in a classic Peking duck. It was served with all the traditional fixings—pancakes, hoisin sauce, and fresh scallions—which added layers of flavor and texture to each bite.
If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation because this place fills up quickly!

Puns aside, it’s kinda the only “fine dining” Asian food in town. And they do it very well. I don’t think the Google rating does it justice but it’s certainly better than anything else the desert has to provide. Every dish we had was perfectly cooked and prepared as well as most. The portions were voluptuous with all the flavor you expect from good Chinese. I think you just have to remember where you are but it’s a great experience if you haven’t been. But if you want to finish it right go up to the rooftop bar for a nightcap and you might end up with with a hotel stay the next morning.
