Nina and Christa are amazing hostess and checked up on me frequently to make sure everything’s great. The food here taste amazing and I am very satisfied with their service! My first time going I grabbed their notorious turtle burger and it was delicious. I went back this weekend after going riding at Haspin Acres with an appetite to eat all the good stuff the country buffet offered.10/10 will be back again!

Every visit we are treated with kindness and delicious food… They cook most everything from scratch and it’s worth the $$ paid I love the fried chicken and though the seafood buffet is not cheap they keep the crab legs coming… Everytime we visit Laurel for off road trip at haspin acres we treat ourselves to a delicious dinner at turtles… Felt compelled to review this trip because turtle went out of the way when I mentioned the chicken noodles not on buffet to bring me a bowl personally always great service always a full belly and always a smile thanking us for coming

Had a good experience. We showed up when they opened up at 11am and they only had a few others that came in during our time there. It’s a good time to go if you’re wanting to eat out without a crowd.
The chicken had great crunch and flavor. You got a good amount of chicken for the cost. I chose all dark meat and got 2 legs, 2 thighs and a back. Plan to give extra time for the fried chicken. It takes 30 mins to make. I got mashed potatoes and gravy as my potato side with the fried chicken dinner. They were smooth and the gravy was good but needed salt imo, but that would be good for those who need a low salt option. Coffee was standard diner type coffee; good, hot and fresh. The salad bar had a lot of different salad options. Potato salad, pasta salad, pea salad, cottage cheese, bacon, black olives, ham, onion, etc. Was happy to see poppy seed dressing too.
My party said the catfish was amazing. Waitress said the ribeyes are what she would recommend for next time, that they’re hand cut and one of her favorites as well as the fried chicken.

Their all you can eat crab legs for $40 is a very good deal. Country buffet for $20 offered a well stocked salad bar and their hot buffet had dumplings, fried chicken and fried fish, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, etc. They had four delectable desserts to choose from. Service was very attentive and friendly. They also had an extensive menu you could order from. Our group of 10 all liked their choices.

Great find. A bit of a hole in the wall with really good food and amazing staff. Went for all you can eat seafood buffet. Crab legs were cooked perfectly (most buffets overcook them). Frog legs were on point. My favorite though was the salad bar. Not massive, but bigger than most. And everything was super fresh. Will definitely be back.

The fried chicken was good. The serving of chicken was not big, but I guess it was fine for the price.
If you’re not part of the train tour that comes through, or one of the regulars, you can expect service to be pretty much non-existent.
From other reviews I’ve read and what other customers told me, you’re probably best off just doing the buffet.

Excellent food and service! The best homemade food our group has had and our group consisted of 10 adults and one child. It’s not easy to please that many people but they did it with ease! We all are going back to try the prime rib night, we were lucky enough to sample some since we were there when they were serving the fried chicken ( which was delicious as well ). The prime rib was exceptional! A++
