Nataz is a four-course prix fixe restaurant. This includes the following; grazing board, choice of salad, choice of entree, and dessert sampler. We now have a full bar featuring culinary crafted cocktails, beers from all over the world, and excellent wine list. Our restaurant has a service charge which provides a living wage for all service staff. Gratuity is not expected at Nataz but greatly appreciated.

Upon walking into the restaurant the atmosphere and staff were welcoming. We were seated at the Opera style table in the middle of the restaurant. The lights were very bright it hurt my eyes and immediately took away from the dining experience. We were greeted by a lovely team of servers. Kaheem was our main server and he was such a delight; hands down one of the best severs we ever had. We live in Southington but haven’t been to this restaurant yet, so my husband chose Nataz for his birthday dinner. We started with Calamari, but before our order arrived we were complimentary treated to a birthday meatball appetizer. The flavor was great but the quality of the meat wasn’t the best. I bit into little bits of cartilage which isn’t something I’ve ever encountered with ground beef. We appreciate the kind gesture though. The calamari arrived and it was overcooked. We didn’t eat it. The salad course was great. We got one of each. For our main entrees; I ordered the heavenly lobster and my husband ordered the Zuppa. My dish tasted good but it had barely any lobster in it. I would have ordered something different if I had known I would get such little lobster. My husband enjoyed his Zuppa but said it was a little overcooked, especially the shrimp. Dessert was good. Drinks were amazing. When it came time for the check we realized the restaurant automatically charges a 20% “service fee”. I didn’t have a problem with this because Kareem was amazing and we also gave him extra because he did such a great job. I have a problem with 1) the deception of not knowing about the charge for a party of two. 2) Paying tax on a tip. My money is taxed enough and I shouldn’t be forced to pay tax on a tip because you itemized it as a “service charge” and include it in the total. Don’t play games with my money. For this reason, and the complete mediocre food, we will never be back. There’s better choices in Southington.

Our party of 3 was there to celebrate my birthday. I wanted a good steak and we were blown away by how good the food was. Our reservation was for 5:30p because a snow storm was rolling in. Chuck, the manager, served us having let his staff go home because we were the only ones there. He was warm and friendly and spent time talking to us and explaining the menu. All of us ordered the 4 course pre fixe dinner. The grazing board with bread was very nice. Goat cheese, honey butter, olives. Interesting cocktails and delicious salads. The signature salad with poached apples was a favorite. The sides were all well paired with the steaks and we took desert to go since we were so stuffed. As another reviewer said “There were no weak links in this meal” We returned later in the week to get to go orders of the mushroom risotto Chuck had described. It was amazing. We will definitely be back. We all agreed it had been a long time since we’d enjoyed a meal out this good.

Nataz is an absolute gem and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We went for a birthday dinner and could not have picked a better spot. From start to finish, everything was phenomenal.
The salmon was cooked to perfection,tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The meatloaf was not your mother’s meatloaf in the best possible way !! Juicy, and topped with a delicious peppered gravy that took it to another level. The portions were enormous, so come hungry!
The crabcakes were perfectly cooked with a golden, crispy crust and packed with flavor. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their cooking.
The drink menu was amazing, with great options for every taste, and the desserts were the perfect ending to an already outstanding meal.
Amazing food, generous portions, fantastic drinks, and a warm atmosphere — Nataz made our birthday celebration unforgettable. We will absolutely be back! ️

We went there yesterday for the 7th time! This place should teach classes to lesser restaurants about consistency, professionalism, and how to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We’ve felt like VIPs every time we’ve been there, and that was BEFORE the food experience. I had the Tomahawk steak last year for our anniversary (my wife and I), and I meant to leave a review, but forgot. We went again yesterday for our 20th and I promised myself I would leave this review. This year I had the Ribeye and my wife had the Braised Pot. DELICIOUS!!! And they threw in a complimentary crab cake for our anniversary! They did something similar last year. Are you serious! Who does that anymore?! You walk into this place and you feel like you went back to a better time where you were treated like a person, and not just customer 2,349,999. Ok, I’ll leave it here b/c I don’t want too many people to flood one of my happy places… Thanks Nataz!

Came to Nataz Southington for a date night and it was great. The food was genuinely excellent. My girlfriend got the zuppa, I got the veal, and everything we tried (grazing board, salad, dessert) was delicious. Service was also great all the way through: attentive, responsive, and friendly.

This was our first time here and truly don’t know where to start on how great our experience was! First we were greeted by great staff and the service they gave us throughout the night remained amazing! Our waiter was tentative and helpful. We don’t eat pork so he made sure our food remained pork free!! The cheese and butter spread was so good with the fresh bread! Followed by our salads! We did order the calamari and it was honestly the best calamari I’ve ever had! The waiter gave us a complimentary meatball and wow that was delicious with a side of their ricotta! Our entrees were steak and a chicken dish. We had the delmonico and the sexagon delicious! After our meal I was full but my husband ordered a cappuccino and the tiramisu which was so good! The owner came by and had a lovely conversation with us! 10 out of 10 we cannot wait to go back!!! I highly recommend to go with friends or even a nice date night! I added photos the presentation was excellent on top of the taste being phenomenal!
