I have eaten at all the fried fish/gizzards BloNo has to offer and Baba is the best. The food is DELICIOUS. Fish is selectively picked so when you bite into it it’s juicy, flaky, fleshy instead of overwhelmingly thick breading. I love their mild sauce. Most importantly none of that weird, bitter, gamey taste because they CLEAN their fish and gizzards so well and no bad/old oil smell either. The restaurant is always clean. The owner is kind and generous. 10/10 business to support

We stopped by here for our Chicago to St. Louis drive. It’s kinda half way through and about 10 minutes detour. One of the very few halal place.
Owner is a Muslim, see attached pic. He assured us most of the items are zabihah Halal and told us what is not. Menu is wide. We had ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich. Food is OK.
Ambience is good. They have a prayer area. Bathrooms are cleaner with a bidet.
It’s a perfect place for a quick bite, get your prayers and be on your way.

I went here around 2:30 which is a slower time of day, so the atmosphere was quiet. The gentleman working was polite and the service was excellent. I ordered the Butter Chicken (which comes with rice) and Garlic Naan. I had a mild spice for the Butter Chicken. All of the food was delicious. I did pour some of the Butter Chicken onto the rice and that was a good choice. Dipping the Naan in the soup is amazing too. I think next time I will get the more spicy version. I highly recommend choosing this restaurant if you’ve never tried. They do have much more than that. Those are off the ethnic section, but they have much more that is considered American food too.

I really wanted to love this place, but it’s ok. 2 cups of rice with a bone-in leg and thigh combo for $15 is really not worth it. I wish I would’ve known the chicken was bone-in before ordering, definitely would’ve skipped. The samoses and naan were pretty good. The butter chicken was basically a running soup.

Food was great. I went there and ordered one of their lunch specials. The special comes with fries, drink, coleslaw etc., but you can pick the main entree from the menu. Their fried catfish pieces are huge, which is awesome. Next time I will try their Butter Chicken and see how it is. The employee was friendly too. I looked at other menu item prices and they seemed reasonable for what you get. I would recommend Baba Restaurant.

My only complaint is that I didn’t hear about this place sooner! Blown away by the chicken, walleye and the fries. Pizza puff wasn’t my thing but looked great. We gave them a $250 order on a Saturday with 90 minutes notice and they had it done on time. Highly recommend especially catering. Will bring the family back.

Best Fried Chicken Livers in Town. Tip: I have them cooked “soft” so not too well done. Great value too. Owner and Staff very friendly and helpful, always follows special instructions and done on time. Other items include Fish and Chicken.

I stopped here while traveling and was pleasantly surprised. The food exceeded my expectations — I ordered the chicken nuggets and shrimp, and both were outstanding, truly a 10/10 experience.
Seating was Super Clean and I also have used the bathroom it was nice and clean.

This is one of those restaurants whose menu is an instant heart attack.
The menu mostly consists of fried items.
I had the double cheese burger which was huge and very good but the fries that went with them were average fair.
They had their own home made BBQ sauce which was both sweet and tangy that had a slight hint of raspberry flavor to it that went very well on the cheese burger.
The service was good and I got to speak with the owner who was very pleasant.
If you stop in at Baba’s I would recommend the double cheese burger.
