El Greco makes a great pizza that is unique and reliable after so many years. I’ve been coming here forever and have yet to find a pan pizza in the area that competes. The owners are great people and have been very loyal to the community for many years.

Their pizza is the best thing on the menu. Everything else has gone downhill. Ordered baked ziti, and received a huge plate of penne pasta that seemed to not have been drained of water, and just mixed into red water sauce with absolutely no seasoning, just cheese.. my pasta was swimming in water when I opened my meal.. I took one bite and immediately threw away… I hate wasting my money on food, especially when I’m starving…

Amazing slice of pizza! The crust and the exterior of the dough were both really good. Been getting this place for years if you need a grab-and-go lunch, stop here for sure.

I recently visited El Greco Pizza, a spot I used to frequent over 30 years ago on my way home from high school. Seeing it still open brought back a wave of nostalgia—memories of playing arcade games, hanging out with friends, and enjoying some of the best pizza in the neighborhood. My family would even order their chicken parm sandwiches on Friday nights.

Excited to step inside and reminisce, I walked in and immediately noticed that the place looked just as I remembered. I saw an older man working in the back who seemed familiar, so I approached the counter, hoping to catch up and maybe place an order.

However, my excitement quickly faded. As soon as I asked, “Hi, what are your hours for today?”, I was met with an unfriendly and confrontational response: “You want pizza?”—delivered with a frown and an aggressive tone. I tried rephrasing my question, thinking there was a language barrier, but he curtly repeated, “It’s online!”. The whole exchange felt unnecessarily rude and off-putting.

Maybe that’s just his usual demeanor, or perhaps I don’t remember him being this way, but unfortunately, it left a bad impression. I had hoped for a moment of nostalgia and connection, but instead, I walked away disappointed. Sadly, this experience has made me decide that I won’t be returning or ordering from El Greco Pizza again.

This is one of the worst places you can walk into. I asked a simple question about a personal pie and the guy behind the counter gets upset and LITERALLY slams a menu on the counter in my face and tells me to go look for myself. The staff takes rudeness and horrible customer service to a whole other level. It was one of the best places in town for pizza and now you don’t even want to order anything based on how they speak to you. I hope this place gets shut down. I’m surprised it has lasted as long as it has. Truly disgusting.

Ordered two slices of pizza and an Italian sandwich. Pizza was dry, average at best. Italian was just ham and cheese. Asked for side of hot peppers, and worker had no idea what I meant and didn’t care. Bathrooms had no paper towels. Will never go back.

The owner of the store has a very nasty attitude, I called to ask a question about the pizza and he goes off with an attitude, my first time ordering and now I won’t. I hope this place get shut down.

I’ve been coming here for over 13 years now & I still love it. The pizza is very unique & I haven’t found another pizza place that makes a similar pie. I’ve never had an issue with the owner he’s always been very straight forward & that’s how it should be. If you come here just order a whole pie getting slices isn’t really worth it. Also their late hours make it perfect for someone like me who works overnights.

Superb as usual. Been ordering from here for over 30 years. We recently moved and couldn’t wait to eat there again. Their pizza is like no other. Sausage toppings is the best. Although all are good. Cheeseburger deluxe and meat lasagna another family favorite. Miss you guys! Richmond Ave family.
