We had a wonderful experience at Yalla Shawarma! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating from start to finish. We ordered the chicken shawarma platter, beef shawarma platter, a falafel sandwich, and an order of falafel—and they even generously added a hummus plate to our order, which was such a nice touch.
We stopped in while driving on Route 80 during a road trip, and it was conveniently off the highway—close enough that it didn’t require minimal rerouting, which made it a perfect stop.
The space itself is very cute with thoughtful decor. It’s not a huge place, but we were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids and were able to sit comfortably. They also brought out a high chair for our son, which we really appreciated.
The food was delicious—especially the beef shawarma, which was outstanding. We would definitely recommend Yalla Shawarma!

We’re had not only the best food, but best experience at Yalla Schwarma. The lovely woman who is one of the owners was so sweet and welcoming. The garlic sauce and all the sauces actually are delicious. We tried the chicken schwarma, the habibi fries, baba ghannouj, tabouli, hummus, and the falafel was so crunchy but soft inside and dipped in garlic was my favorite! Don’t skip on the food or the lovely staff. She set the bar high on this cuisine and we will definitely be back!

Had planned to go to Texas De Brazil tonight, took a chance on an interesting place called Yalla Shawarma. WOW! Absolutely amazing, delicious! Definitely plan to stop next time we’re in the atea!

I have had their delicious food multiple times now with nothing but praise for the taste and their customer service.
Things happen sometimes and last night I ordered takeout stopping on my way home from work.
I took my food and didn’t realize until I got home that the order was wrong and I was missing a few items.
Here is where I stress again, things happen. I was hungry and was upset for a quick minute and then took a breath and realized it was on me too for not checking the order before leaving. Also, instead of immediately leaving an angry review, I wanted to go back and give them a chance.
Well they certainly delivered! Of course they let me keep what I did get (ate it for lunch today), cooked me the correct meal, and gave me a free piece of delish dessert.
While waiting for the food I had a nice conversation with some of the staff and they all were nice and sincerely apologetic.
That, right there, is how things should be handled by both parties. I really appreciate them taking care of me and once again, they earned my respect and repeat business.

i usually never leave reviews but this place was incredible, 10/10. beef and chicken are both cooked to perfection, falafel is perfectly crispy, and the sauces are great. the service is excellent too, they really go above and beyond (shoutout to ryan and sami). highly recommend

WOW! This is my second time having a meal from Yalla Shawarma in the Shaker plaza and I can’t believe how incredible their food is. I had the chicken shawarma plate. The staff are always wonderful, personable and friendly. It’s definitely one of my favorite new places. I highly recommend this place.
