When I opened the take out container I was impressed at how neat it all looked! I got the 3 taco combo. 2 steak, 1 birria, beans…..Beans were ok, could have used a bit more cheese on them. Birria taco was excellent…..steak tacos, eh, seemed like it was a bit of kinda fresh meat mixed with meat left over from the day. Some pieces where hard, chewy, burnt. Salsa was good. Got an horchata to drink…. that was the BOMB!!!! Tasted like it was actually homemade, not the mix, like it seems most use. Over all, the meal was edible.

I ordered a taco dinner with chips and salsa on the side and instead, they put the chips and salsa in my dinner with no rice and beans as I paid for rice and beans. Sooo pissed the chips were soggy I had no rice and beans and there was nothing that I asked for on the tacos.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The taco meat was dry and lacked seasoning, the tortillas were greasy, and the rice was over-steamed and looked like it had been sitting for days. The salsas were also very bland. Overall, the meal lacked freshness and flavor.
I have actually been to the location in pilsen and they have enriched flavor and the meat is tender and everything compliments each other … was sort of expecting the same. The tamales also needed flavor it was too bland ..not even the green sauce saved it …

Don’t waste your money. The corn in the cup straight up tastes like the canned elote and the steak didn’t taste good either. Lacks flavor for both items. Huge disappointment! You might have better luck at their locations closer to the city.

I ordered via instacart/uber eats. I got the 4 tacos meal (chicken, carnitas, pastor, & chorizo) with chips & guac. the chips were a little fake but the guac was good, rice and beans were good, churro was good. I’m saving the chorizo & carnitas tacos for tomorrow but the two I had were really good.

Visited the drive thru on 6.26.24 and ordered a 3 taco meal (two marinated chicken and one steak) and 2 tacos (one marinated steak and one veggie) plus one chicken tamale. The meat tacos were tasty. The 3 taco meal includes one side rather than the typical rice and beans plus a drink. Now, the veggie taco, don’t bother ordering if you’re looking for the traditional veggies because it is simply rice and beans in a taco shell. The tamale was mostly corn and a dab of meat. I would only order chicken or steak tacos from Los Comales in the future.

This plac can be a little inconsistent but for the most part we always enjoy what we get for the price but with that being said – we usually get tacos or tortas with chips and guac. I got rice and beans last time and they tasted AWFUL. Idk if it was a bad day or just not my thing but it’s a no for me for the rice and beans. Will probably come back for tacos
