Good sweet tea and we were there on a Sunday so got the buffet. Good variety of pizza and the bread pudding was good. Even had banana pudding, but I missed that. Just check your time, but there was plenty of Main Street parking.

Best salad bar in town! Visiting my mom, we decided to grab some food in town. My wife and I hadn’t been to Hometown Pizza Cafe before so we thought we’d stop in and check out their salad bar. It had much more variety than we expected and we were very pleased with our salad bar purchase. We were also pleased to learn that they served cauliflower crust as a gluten free option (pictured) and it was tasty.

My husband and I visited Water Valley, MS while camping at the North Abutment, Grenada, MS. We decided to eat lunch at Hometown Pizza. The buffet was very good. The salad bar was great- fresh and clean. The pizza on the buffet was delicious and hot. The staff made sure we knew they were bringing out more and even asked if there was a certain kind we would like. Everyone was so welcoming and extremely personable and kind. We will go back.

The place has a great small-town vibe. The staff was fairly friendly. We got the pizza buffet. The food was good, but not the best I’ve had either. Our kids love cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza, and we had to wait on those to be cooked. The buffet had run out. They had good live entertainment the night we were there. Overall, a family atmosphere.

The sweet tea was excellent, and the Sunday buffet offered a nice variety, especially the pizza and bread pudding. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the banana pudding. Parking on Main Street was convenient during our visit.

Good menu of Huggies, Nacho’s, fried appetizers, burgers, salad bar, pizza buffet (maybe not due to ” Pandemic”). Pizzas to order including dine in. Daily specials too. Lunch has been good, usually small pizza, working in the area. Live music Saturday nights. They’ve got a couple other weekly night events too. Give um a call or stop in, friendly people. 4stars for lunch

We had heard they had a good salad bar and it was a great selection. Only problem was the iceberg and the Romaine had a little browning and were not chopped enough (which is a personal preference). We had the buffet so now, about the pizza. By the time you walked to your table, it was cold. It was also tasteless. I tried eating only the toppings only to find a prefabricated store bought crust. No wonder it was awful. If you aren’t making crust homemade daily, can you legally use the word pizza in the title of your restaurant? Atmosphere was extremely loud (the staff). At least 5 people running around for 7 customers and I kept seeing people waiting on to go orders. Very inefficient use of staff. And they were loud and seemed to have to asked permission to do everything. Two employees should have been able to handle this business effectively. The online menu had prices at 8.99. We were charged 13.99. For prices comparable to to quality pizza places in Oxford, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place and would make the drive to Oxford.

I’m mostly burned out on pizza buffets at this point in my life, but I cannot get enough of their Greek pasta. It has everything I could hope for in it and more, my only complaint is that I have to heavily season it with the table cheese, salt, pepper, and the chili flakes to be perfect.
