Took my mom to get a new pair of glasses and check her vision, and since we were already in the area, we stopped by Glazed Tea in Doraville for some milk tea. It had been a while since we last visited!
My mom ordered the Amber Milk Tea — a classic Assam black tea with rich, creamy milk. She said it had a deep tea aroma and a smooth, lingering aftertaste that made it really satisfying.
I went with the Whisper, which I personally loved. The jasmine tea blended beautifully with the silky milk, creating a light floral fragrance and a smooth, refreshing finish. Very easy to drink and not overwhelming.
We also grabbed a Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea for my niece — she loves her drinks a little sweeter! The caramelized brown sugar and chewy pearls were a perfect treat for her.
As a fun bonus, they’re currently running a Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) scratch-off promotion. It’s a cute little game that gives you a chance to win small prizes — adds a bit of festive excitement to the visit!

My friend and I both got food poisoning from the milk tea here. We were violently ill within two hours of consuming the drinks. We drink a ton of boba tea so this experience was shocking. I have never left a one star review but I feel obligated to warn others.
Also, the customer service here was the worst I’ve ever encountered. The only two staff members were wearing AirPods and when I politely asked one of them if I could have my cup of water dumped in their sink, he just pointed in a vague direction, towards a trash container. No words, no effort. I didn’t want to toss the almost full cup of water in the trash because it would be harder for them to clean up! It seems the staff doesn’t care for basic food hygiene or even bare minimum customer service. For the love of God, please do not go here!!!

I recently visited Glaze, and my experience was a mix of good taste and bad design.
First, the good: the bubble tea itself was delicious. It’s true that the price is on the higher side ($12 for a drink is definitely a splurge!), but the flavor was rich and worth the cost.
Now, for the major issue: the lids are incredibly loose. While we were still in the store, we noticed how easily the lid came off my cup. We flagged down a staff member about it. They confirmed that “that’s just how the lids are” but kindly offered to add a paper barrier between the lid and the cup, which did seem to help slightly.
The Catastrophe
Feeling slightly reassured, we left. But guess what? The small fix was clearly not enough. As I was gently lifting the cup out of my car’s cupholder, the lid came completely off with the slightest touch, spilling the entire $12 drink all over my car!
My wallet and my car are now sad. While the quality of the drink is fantastic, the defective lid design and the resulting mess make me hesitant to return. For such a premium price, I expect a secure cup. Please fix your lids!

Good & strong tea flavors for individual — I really enjoy the osmanthus flavors. The boba hot pot is a cool concept with cool presentation, but the milk tea tasted slightly watered down. Unique and authentic types of tea that aren’t normally seen in a typical boba shop. However, prices are on the higher side and definitely not as affordable as some other options in the area.

This place is definitely a must-visit! I ordered the Tiger—the classic brown sugar boba with milk—and it was amazing. I customized it with 25% sugar, which was the perfect sweetness for me. The drink was generous in size, so I couldn’t quite finish it, but next time I’ll go for the Little Tiger. Highly recommend!

Drinks came out fast, the staff are distracted though and constantly on their phones instead of maintaining the cafe space. Lots of variability between visits. Matcha is a miss here, go somewhere else for that. Milk tea is the way to go, they do that pretty well flavor-wise.

After dinner, we were looking for something refreshing for dessert. I’m glad we decided to go to Glaze Tea. It may not look spacious from the outside but once you walk in you can see that is pretty roomy. Speaking of the space, I love the set-up, the variety of sitting areas, and the clean environment. Here’s my recommendations:
1. The ice cream hot pot. You can pick up to 6 items. We picked the pistachio ice cream, the strawberry ice-cream, the boba, the mochi pudding, watermelon, and strawberry. It was the perfect combo.
2. The Misty Berry drink. It was so good with the lychee jelly.
3.The Coco Melon Breeze drink.
4. The Glutinous Taro Cheesecake.
Make sure you go check them out. Great staff, ambiance, delicious drinks and yummy desserts.

Tropical fruit tea ‘hot pot’ was a punch bowl. We ordered double mango but there was basically no mango in our bowl! We also ordered a matcha but it was almost white—basically just sweet milk. The atmosphere was really cute and clean but the drinks were disappointing.
