Popped in on New Year’s Eve for a quick bite before heading home. I had the keema and chicken tikka Pav which were both delicious particularly the keema which had a nice level of spice. Lovely friendly staff/owners and tasted pretty authentic to me!
Definitely worth a trip if you’re in Glasgow and fancy something a little different.

After driving all day in the snow, came in here for a quick dinner, restaurant is located in the basement, service was friendly and quick. Food was good. I’d eat here again. We got the cheese dosa, seek kebab, keema dosa, Hakka noodles, cassava dish and a chicken dish

Bombaywalla is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic and flavour-packed Indian street food and classic delicacies. From the very first bite, everything felt fresh, vibrant, and perfectly spiced. The vada-pav instantly transported me back to Mumbai streets, while the samosa chaat was a perfect balance of crunch, tang, and sweetness.

The chicken malvani was rich, aromatic, and beautifully cooked — easily a standout dish. Pairing it with the soft, buttery garlic naan was pure comfort. The cheese mushroom was indulgent and full of flavour, and the masala cheese fries were a fun, delicious twist that disappeared far too quickly!

A special shout-out to Tanya, who manages the restaurant — her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hospitality truly elevate the entire dining experience. You can feel the care that goes into both the food and the service.

If you’re looking for bold flavours, great variety, and a welcoming atmosphere, Bombaywalla is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back again!

Bombaywala in Glasgow is truly a hidden gem. The food was outstanding—rich in flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care and authenticity. The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. A special mention to Chef Sunny, who went above and beyond to customize dishes for our group and ensure everyone had a fantastic dining experience. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high-quality cuisine with genuine hospitality. Highly recommended, and I look forward to returning soon.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt spot on. The atmosphere was inviting, and every dish we tried—at both lunch and dinner—was full of flavor. The food was consistently excellent. Tania made the experience even better with her warm hospitality and genuine care. We enjoyed it so much that returning was an easy decision.

One of the best authentic Indian meals I’ve had in Glasgow City Centre. The Veg Kofta curry and Gulab jamun mixed Ice cream was incredible. It’s a very calm environment, perfect for a relaxed lunch/dinner and the staff provided excellent, attentive service. Highly recommend!

Bombay Wala was a real disappointment. The service was poor from the start, and the waiting time for food was more than an hour, which is unacceptable. When the food finally arrived, it was not worth the wait at all.
The cheese chilli naan was especially bad. It was basically a plain naan with a little cheese sprinkled on top, no filling, no flavour, just garnish. Honestly, it is one of the worst naans I have eaten in my life.
Overall, the experience was frustrating due to slow service and very poor food quality. I would not recommend this place based on my visit.
