I’ll call this place a hidden gem because the food was much better than we expected. It was one of the more authentic Mexican restaurants that we have experienced in middle Tennessee. This format doesn’t allow me to give half stars and five stars are exceptional so I gave a four star. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area. We will be back soon.

Stopped here for the first day time after seeing all the great reviews. We are newer to town and there are a ton of Mexican restaurants out here. We are trying to find our favorite. I don’t think this one is it, although the food was good. Came here with my mother in law for lunch on her birthday. Walking in we weren’t sure where to go since it’s a long hallway and no hostess stand to be seen. We poked our head into the main dining area and didn’t see anyone working so continued to what I guess is a to go ordering area? Some people were working the counter there and told us to just sit and someone would be with us. Our server was nice but idk if she was new or it was the language barrier but she didn’t seem to know the menu and wasn’t very helpful. My mother in law just wanted a couple bean or cheese enchiladas and the server just stood there confused by the request. So I pointed out a lunch meal that had a bean burrito and cheese enchilada so that’s what she ended up getting. She also asked for a side of just plain flour tortillas and again the server seemed confused. I went with the chicken chimichanga. It was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole but the server didn’t bring it. I thought after she dropped off the first 3 plates she’d be back with that but she actually didn’t come back until it was time to bring the check. I ordered a margarita. It was ok. The chimichanga was good. The cheese sauce on it was really thick, which I don’t think I liked. Idk. It was different. I think having some fresh aspects, like the lettuce, tomato and guacamole that was supposed to come with it would have made it a lot better. Cut some of the richness and thickness. It also came with rice and beans. Both also good. The space was large and open and didn’t have a welcome feel. It felt more sports bar than Mexican restaurant. But it was clean. I’d eat here again at some point but not any time soon. I have other places to try and would rather try somewhere new.

Was passing through and decided to stop since the menu mentioned Pineapple chicken but was disappointed as the Pineapple was canned and Not Fresh Pineapple as I was Expecting. Food was Hot but Beans lacked Flavor unless you like strong onion taste.

First time I’ve ever been there,
I was trying to ask if a condiment had jalapeno in it, because I’m allergic. The lady couldn’t understand me, Once they realized what I was asking/needing, they was quick to fix me a delicious burrito minus jalapeno. This food is delicious, and if I had been feeling better, I would’ve eaten my meal there instead of to go. It tastes so much better than my average photo gives it credit for. We’ll definitely eat here again when we come back to Tennessee.

This is the best Mexican food I have ever had! Everybody there is nice and they put forth an effort to make sure that your food is exactly the way you want it! Highly recommend!

Went to the express side for a quick dinner tonight and it was so fresh and seasoned great. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely will be coming back more often.

Great Mexican restaurant in Ashland City. The food is on par with other restaurants. I especially like their micheladas. One side of the restaurant is fast food and the other side is sit down service. Both sides have equally good food and drink.
