Was looking forward to eating at my first firehouse sub franchise. Very disappointed.
This place is dark and grubby with very slow service. Place needs to be steam cleaned and painted. Boxes of supplies and soda laying out on the countertops and in the dining room area.
Paid $11 for a medium size sub with three thin layers of beef lol. Didn’t even like the pickle.
The hot sauce counter is better in theory than practice. Most of the bottles were near empty with the insides and outsides coated with old hot sauce yuck.
I can see this franchise going the way of Quiznos bye bye!

Food is made very fast and the prices to portion size is good. I love the boxes your subs come in rather than bags which most places give you. They should explore a wider variety of bread like most all sub places have now.

Heard about this 16 hour slow cooked brisket sub on a CORNBREAD roll over the radio and of course couldnt resist stopping by and checking it out.
Heading back home to Richmond, VA from Tampa, FL I was pretty hungry so I was concerned my hunger would be eating this sub. But it hit the right notes. Unfortunately I didn’t get much corn from the roll hence the 4. If that bread would have tasted more like a cornbread then I would have totally given them a 5.
On a different note… the staff was amazingly friendly. They greeted me all 6 of them the moment I opened the door and all 6 of them said bye have a nice day. That was a nice touch.

The food was decent, had never eaten there before and after my experience there I probably won’t again. The staff there was beyond rude, acting as if the customers that come in were more than an inconvenience, almost bothered by them. The girl who was on the register couldn’t even take the time to put her phone down while taking our order. For the $31 dollars for 2 medium meatball sandwiches there are many other places in that area where I’ll go and spend my money next time. My only recommendation would be to the franchise owner and management that they get employees who take a little more pride in their work.

Went to firehouse today 5/22/25 around 1pm and was given the wrong order when i picked up. I called back, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They remade my food fresh, and it was very good. I will definitely be back. Customer service is top tier. Clean environment. This is how a restaurant should operate. Thanks to all the staff and management
