Fabulous small-town Cafe/Convenience Store. My friends and I stopped by here last summer. Service in the Cafe was great, food and portion sizes were great and generous. Stopped in the convenience store after to grab a few things and the worker was very nice and directed us to what we needed. Great place to stop for a bite and anything you may need. Can’t speak to their other products/services but I am sure they are just as great. Keep up the good work. New owners are doing great!

Emmaville is a must stop if you are in the area! Their selection of ready to cook homemade food is quite special. The owners are very welcoming and staff is great! Stop in to the cafe and grab a bite, the food is wonderful as well.

First, great coffee in a full size mug. Then the Minnesota Omelet was phenomenal! Bacon, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese – all prepared perfectly. How can some places make an omelet that doesn’t really taste like anything and this was so flavorful but no weird spices? Hash browns were crispy and not greasy at all. So good. And treat yourself to a cinnamon roll – perfection!

The new owners are extremely rude and out of pocket. You should never yell at customers and treat them like they do. They are there for the friendly service and nice atmosphere that has always been there, not to be criticized and yelled at. I’ve heard about how they are running it down hill but did not expect this.

Village store busy on the weekends but during the week can’t really justify the staff to profit. Nice items homemade pantry items, local clothing flair, personable staff. Fair not cheap.
The irritating only pork, busy forgot the cheese, the eggs are fried not over easy. The hash browns not a true double order. 15.00 tipped 20% for waitress charming hustling brought out to my car an absolute catch for an older teen or going to college(cute, curvy) & 2.00 for cook..

I had a Rueben on marble rye and my wife had a BLT on a great cranberry walnut bread that was killer! I had a mountain of tater tots with mine. Another member of our party had a bacon cheese burger and was amazed by the large quantity of bacon. I will go back and really want to try breakfast there! My wife bought a shirt and a coffee mug because we loved the place.

I can’t say enough about this place. This is a must stop if you are heading to your northern cabin or your first time in the area. It’s located ten miles north of Park Rapids and ten miles south of Lake George. This place is a gas station, cafe, bar, motel grocery, gift shop and campground.
Rod and Dayna the owners and their staff are a great group of friendly helpful employees.
