best vada pav l’ve had outside Pune and that’s huge since we both grew up eating Puneri food. The pavs were just phenomenal and wrapped intelligently with fried green chillis and fresh besan boondi. All chutneys were encased beautifully inside each vada pav. The
pavs with the bhaji were beautifully buttered and were the perfect accompaniment to their bhaji. The best pav bhaji lve had in the Bay Area! Buttery pav and bhaji was served with finely chopped fresh onions and a wedge of lime. The corn cutlets were crispy and nice
too. They were savory and not sweet at all. Show them some love as you don’t get these flavors elsewhere.
Great taste, good portions, and authentic flavors. Definitely recommend if you’re craving classic Indian street food!
Didn’t have time to try other items but friends highly recommend it.
Corn cutlets were really freshly made and is of a good portion size , based on the price. But their highest point is their freshly made buns, which are an amazing addition to the freshly made stuffings of the Vada pav and pav bhaji.
The walnut cakes were amazing and I didn’t expect this kind of baked goods in a ‘hole in the wall’ type restaurant.
Altogether, this place gives me a genuine reason to stay in the Bay Area. Perfect OG food. Keep the taste running and I can almost see this place getting flooded with customers.
I have tried almost all the restaurants/food trucks in the Bay Area that serve food from the state of Maharashtra.
I had a go to spot which IMO served the best Vada Pav in the Bay, until now 🙂
Went here to dine in. The place doesnt have a lot of tables (3). Looks more suitable for take out.
Its a family run joint and the people are friendly.
Ordered a couple things from the menu.
1. Vada Pav: One of the tastiest I have had outside India. The vada, the chutney and specially the pav. I talked to the owner and was told they make the pav in-house.
2. Pav Bhaji: Very flavorful. Ordered extra pav which are toasted with butter.
3. Mutter (Peas) Kachori: Nice and crunchy on the outside with a tasty mutter stuffing. Didnt feel as oily as most other restaurants.
4. Corn Cutlet: Tasty and not too spicy. My 3 yo approves 🙂
Cant wait to try the other items in the menu.
Especially like that you get one piece alone, so you can have it as a light snack.
You guys, I wish you all the best and that more and more people give you business 🙂 Please keep being the BEST at what you do – I’m ALWAYS rooting for your restaurant! Thank you for the amazing food <3
