This place is clutch. The food is always fire and you definitely get your money’s worth with the portions. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and it filled me up for hours. Service was quick and friendly, which is perfect when you’re hungry and in a rush. The vibe is chill and easygoing. Overall, solid spot and 100% worth it. I’d come back again for sure.

I go out of my way to come to this L&L Glendale location because the food is always so fresh and well seasoned. Roman is always so accommodating and welcoming when he greets the customers coming in. I always get the chicken katsu or musubis and they are always so good every time! It’s always worth the wait when I order 🙂 I’ll always come back to this location!

Chicken is good but they serve wayyyy too much rice with the bowl, most rice I’ve ever gotten. Like a pound of rice in a bowl with one piece of chicken and little veggies. The only reason I come here is for the meat.

Normally, I’m not a Hawaiian food kinda’ guy, but I figured, I’d give this location a shot. Actually better than my last L&L experience in actual Hawaii. One item was missing, and they tried to notify me of my online order, and then, they made a compromise to replace the item with something else instead. Came out quick, too! The Katsu’s OK, pretty standard stuff, with crispy fried battering. If you spent some time on the island and you’ve been thinking about getting something to feel nostalgic, this is OK to get your fix on.

The negative reviews made me skeptical about this place because I was reading them after I had ordered, but I was impressed by how well my experience was. I ordered the combination plate and I thought the portion was reasonable. The man who took my order also prepared it and it was well seasoned and ready in a timely manner. I would come back here again anytime I crave Hawaiian BBQ as its only 5min away from me.

We ordered spam musubis, BBQ chicken plates, a BBQ mix plate and a chicken katsu curry bowl. Food portions were very generous and taste was so satisfying! Lots of great drink choices too especially if you like sweet fruity drinks. The owner was kind and despite some language barrier, understood my special requests for the food. Also a very kind guy, took the time to check in with us and even treated us with some donuts! Made our Friday night!! Thank you!!

This place is horrible I can’t believe I even came here I was expecting more like fresh quality food I’m from the islands, and when i came here I noticed that the cashier was doing the cooking and running the register and it was only pretty much one person doing everything and the food was not fresh and taste wise I’ve been to so many other Hawaiian restaurants and this was just not one of them I’m sorry I don’t recommend this place to anybody to come to eat Island food Even the guy that works here was kind of rude was not friendly.

This is ridiculous! $15 for this? I remember when $15 got you the full plate not this mediocre portion they call the “mini plate” (which I guess is appropriately named). On top of that we had to wait about 45 minutes to get our food.
Your money and time is better spent going elsewhere.
