My go to after work when I don’t feel like cooking. Actually they’re my go to any time. Their birria tacos and quesadillas don’t miss!!!! My daughter loves the birria tacos. I always order to go and it’s always ready when I get there. Front counter is always so nice and helpful.

The food was excellent. Made fresh to order. You have to order everything up front then sit down and wait for your number to be called. Once we got that down after our first time, we were good. Highly recommend the Monster burrito. We also tried the fish tacos.

Think of the most average strip-mall Mexican spot imaginable—now stop, because you’ve arrived. No neon sombreros, no mariachi murals, just a reliable lineup of tacos and enchiladas served with all the enthusiasm of a Tuesday afternoon. Comfortingly plain, pleasantly predictable.
The system is simple: no servers, no guidance—just you, a counter, and a menu with more items than the Cheesecake Factory tried on a dare. Place your order, take your number, and prepare for the ceremonial calling of digits while you sit in chairs that are definitely not here for comfort.
The chorizo burrito is huge, yes, but so is the mystery of when its ingredients last encountered a farm. Each bite tastes like it was compiled, not cooked—layer after layer of “good enough” wrapped lovingly in a tortilla that’s doing most of the heavy lifting.
The overall experience can best be described as “serviceable.” You get food. You sit. Your number gets shouted. You consume a burrito of questionable freshness. You survive. It’s a place where expectations come to rest comfortably low—and for better or worse, the restaurant meets them exactly. Cheers!

Just moved to the area and have been here a few times. The first couple times were fine; service was good, food was good, no problems. This last time really made me not want to come back. Called to place a carry out order and immediately the lady that answered the phone sighed loudly and acted like she didn’t want to help me. I ordered the green enchiladas which are under the specials section of the menu and she tried to tell me they weren’t on the menu. When I said I was looking at the menu and it’s under the specials section, she then said okay fine. Ordered a few other things too and was told it would be about 15 minutes, but the entire time acting like she didn’t want to help me at all and was very argumentative with an attitude. I live maybe 5 minutes away so I was there right around the 15 minute mark. When I walked in, the lady was chatting up another customer who spoke Spanish, but when I got up to the register, she barely said two words to me. I get home and unpack everything to quickly notice all the food is cold. Not really sure why when it wasn’t sitting there that long at the restaurant and was back at my house in 5 minutes. Really just felt like I wasn’t welcome, the lady didn’t want to help me, and to top it all off the food was cold. Don’t think I’ll be back after this last experience. Such a shame because the food was really good a couple months ago when I first tried it. Was my go to, but I’ll have to find somewhere else now.

My husband and I recently moved from California and we really miss the Mexican food back home. This is the first place that we’ve found that comes close to what we’re used to. Their food is tasty and reasonably priced for the portions. Saul is the best! He is friendly and professional. But most of all, he is a true businessman who knows how to quickly resolve any issues and develop repeat customers. We are so pleased to have found this place so close to our new home in Clayton, NC. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a California taste experience.

Authentic food. This it not Americanized and I loved it. The food was amazing !!! Not your standard Mexican joint in Nc.
You do have to order at the counter and pick up your food at the window.
Portions are large and there is a cold bar full of toppings to choose from. Pickled onions, pickled cabbage, pico, salsa, tomatillo and more.
The dining area is spotless and very clean. People are super friendly.
Wow!

Saturday lunch, easy ordering, drink options a little limited. Enjoyed the Hibiscus tea.
Fajita was great. There’s a toppings bar, very cool idea.
All tables, no booths, order at register and pick up at the window. No waiter.

This was our first time visiting. The cashier was very helpful and friendly. I ordered a steak taco, it had cilantro and onions on it. Also came with a side of radishes and cucumbers. I also ordered a brisket burrito, California style. My husband ordered a brisket taco and chorizo huarache. Everything was delicious. I had zero complaints. My husband only mentioned the flour for his was a little thick. So by end of it he just ate the filling. But said it was amazing. We will definitely be returning- many many things left to try! Also, every employee had a mask. Gentleman sanitizing tables while we were there and high chairs.

Second time visiting today. I ordered a steak fajita wet burrito. It came with rice and beans. It was great. My husband ordered a spicy pork quesadilla with onions and mushrooms. He loved it. This place truly is authentic and you get so much food for such a cheap price. My burrito with rice and beans was only $7.50!

Tacos Y Burritos is my favorite! No nonsense ordering and the prices are just great.
The food is so good too! Love the simpleness of this place and the quality and price for tacos!
The restaurant dining room and bathrooms are very clean.
To order, place it and pay at the counter and they will call your number to be picked up.
They are open for dine-in as of 9 Sept 2020.
