Great tea shop with tastings. We shared a flight of 3 teas and some tea cookies. Great selection for the tasting and seasonal specialties (the plum herbal is amazing). Our barista (?) was knowledgeable and entertaining.
The location in downtown Mebane is filled with lots of little shops (many are women-owned, if that matters to you). Fun place to do some holiday shopping.

Fantastic experience. I’ve had tastings at the Carrboro location and opted to visit the Mebane store on a weekday to avoid the crowd.
There’s plenty of street parking and a parking lot behind the building.
Jeremy led our tea service and did a phenomenal job. Not many pastries this day (the chef had to leave town), so that was a bummer, but I know we’ll be back to try them.
We’re excited to be able to visit Flight on the weekdays and can’t wait to come back!

Don’t sleep on the baked goods. They went really well with the tea.

Flight is such a vibe! Very relaxed atmosphere and knowledgeable staff to help find the right tea for you! The lounge has such comfortable seating, so cozy! Don’t forget to check out the teas for sale and the teawares at the front of the store!

Brought the kids in on a day off. Nyko was incredibly kind and patient with us as he let us smell and pick our teas. We got a flight of oolong (Song Imperial), black (Shan Li Xiang Red), and tisane (peppermint). The kids enjoyed the tea animals (the fish changed colors when wet) and Nyko explained everything he did as he was doing it. But I think the kids liked the Hot Chocolate the best. A great experience in a welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend.

This place is amazing! We first visited their pop-up in Carrboro and were so excited to hear that they were opening a more permanent store in Mebane, which we just recently visited. Great vibes and a wonderful opportunity to try your favorite tea expertly made or to try something new. We had the flight (try three teas brewed in front of you) and it was the perfect evening outing for friends. For the last of the three teas, we tried something blind (picked out of a random box) and it turned out to be our favorite! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommended.

Outright, The products and service/knowledge of the staff are impeccable. Please note, this is a place that requires patience. With often one staff member, and depending on order volume (plus the fact tea takes time to steep), those that are in a hurry may be frustrated by a five star review. If you’re used to a fast turn around time from bigger franchises with automated machines, you might count this place as a four star location, but hopefully you can learn to slow down.
The location is bright and clean with a variety of seating choices, the tea delicious, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the access from a rear parking lot is welcome on a very busy Clay St. in downtown Mebane.
I personally recommend the Houjicha Latte or Soba Latte, and for a real savory tea I recommend the sticky rice tea.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked getting to learn more about how tea is made, and that also helped me appreciate the tea itself more. Great environment to hang out or work. Also the chai cinnamon rolls are *chef’s kiss*

The wife and I stopped by this quaint little shop in Mebane, NC a few days ago after our daughter told us about how much she loved it. The atmosphere is very welcoming and they have an awesome little assortment of tea, tea ware, incense and pastries. They also do both Chinese and Japanese style tea ceremonies. If you’re a tea lover I highly recommend that you stop by and give Flight a try.
