My granddaughter and I both ordered the chicken burrito El grande. They brought us a small bowl of cold chips. We didn’t like their salsa, so we asked if they had some queso which she brought. The queso was bland white cheese. It didn’t have flavor at all. We were starving so we ate it anyway. When she brought the burritos the presentation was nice with fresh vegetables, guacamole and sour cream. It looked great. Biting into the burrito… it tasted like canned chicken with some beans, honestly I did not taste or smell any spices whatsoever. I ate the vegetables and maybe two bites of the burrito. I’m pretty much of a tightwad so I usually take all of my leftovers home. I didn’t even want to take anything home because I knew I never wanted to eat it again. Also I was quite shocked when I got the bill that a small bowl of queso cost $9.50. She told me it was specially made there, but again, it was white bland cheese with no spices, so I can’t understand what the recipe would be.
The waitress was very nice and attentive. The place was clean.

I was greeted with stressed straight faces who seemed almost annoyed with my entry (a one top table.) they do not have cheese sauce, they offered me two salsas with no explanation of what they are, no napkins or silver ware given until asked. My Dr Pepper was all syrup no fizz. Chicken chimichanga was basically a deep fried chicken taco with cheeses cheese on a plate, no sauce, no peppers inside. Will not come back.

The best I have had in a long time. Going from South American to San Diego or Cozumel. The food was outstanding! Will eat again. Get the Verde sauce! Everything we ate was outstanding!

Really good authentic Mexican fare at reasonable prices. Service was excellent. They were very attentive to our needs all during supper. Update: even better today. Special burrito and specialty margaritas. Mucho Bueno.
Update 4-26-22: As usual, the hostess Edith welcomed us to our table and sent Mindy over to take our order. Mindy was efficient, entertaining and attentive. The food was excellent again ( So were the drinks ).

Cars in the parking lot, thought it was closed down, but NO, it’s still rocking. Definitely to return for a good mex meal w/out the wait.

The only saving grace of this place was how attentive the waitress was. The food was so so bland. My husband and I ate there for dinner on April 25th for the first (and last time). The beans were like eating flavorless paste and honestly the microwaved taquitos we had earlier in the day had more flavor than the burritos we ate.

Our waitress had a hard time with the English language, but she did a good job with our order. Food was great.

This place was alright. Food was OK, prices are on the high side. I ordered a plate of nachos, and while the meat, cheese, and other toppings on them were tasty, somehow all the chips were soggy and so I pretty much had a basically Nacho casserole. It did taste good though. They do serve desserts but they are not on the menu, and I may be reading too far into it, but it seems to me this may be on purpose. Because they charge $7 for a small, albeit decent, piece of pie. If they put that on the menu you probably wouldn’t order it. It seems to me this may be an attempt to be misleading. I am reading others’ reviews stating that they charged them for the bowl of chips they serve with the meal, the chips they give you, without asking, when you sit down. They did not do this to me, however between mine and others’ experiences it seems they may possibly be trying to mislead. But again, I may be reading too far into it.
