Their reputation for serving perhaps the tastiest fried catfish you will ever eat is still deserving! When friends and family visit from around the state or across the country, this unassuming spot is on their “must eat at again” list. What is truly amazing is the size of the catfish filets they serve for prices below what other fried catfish places charge for filets a third of the size. The fish is always freshly fried, crispy on the outside, and thoroughly cooked, resulting in a hot and flaky interior. With the basket meals, they also include two sides and hush puppies. Wait until you see the generous amounts they serve as sides. You will not go home hungry.

Nasty bottles on the tables with mold growing on them. I ordered breakfast and did not like it. Told the waitress that I didn’t like it. She still charged me for it after taking the plate away which I didn’t eat any of it. I asked why I was being charged and she said I touched it…

Rude when I went to check out I asked to speak to someone and low and behold >> She’s the manager too.
I will never come back and anytime anyone asks me about it I will let them know my experience.
Worst I’ve ever had in my life.
I will say the catfish my husband got was good. I ate a piece but I was so nervous with how nasty the entire restaurant was.
Even the can sodas tasted flat.

Cute little cafe stop to meet up with family. Enjoyed lunch/breakfast here! Affordable, delicious meals were had by 5 of us! We ordered a Hamburger plate, 2 pc Catfish Dinner with fries and a salad, 2 egg breakfast with bacon, pancakes and hashbrowns, Country Fried Steak (Chicken Fried) with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Fried Okra and Salad! Flavorful and good comfort food at affordable prices. Will be sure to stop in when we get back through Iredell.

Really good (I mean Really good) southern style cornmeal rolled large fried catfish fillets. Generous portions of fish and fries and Okra, sweet tea. Just can’t get much more southern than that.
They just need to clean up the condiment bottles to give the appearance of a clean establishment.

My husband’s Aunt and Uncle had 3 catfish ponds in Cleveland MS and they cooked awesome catfish. Haven’t had any since we last visited them in 2009-nothing seemed to compare until today!! Awesome food, great service and great prices.

This is a small quaint restaurant in a small town on Hwy. 6. I have only had the fish and it is Excellent and price is right. If you are hungry I highly recommend this establishment.
