Famous dave was EXTREMELY welcoming. Homemade BBQ chips as your waiting for your order. There cups were huge! So no need for asking for refills consistently. Famous mac and cheese bites 12$ for 5-6 price killed it but loved the concept of it they were top voted for so had to try. Creamy filling with corn and fresh parmeson cheese topped. Beans….mmmmm if your a chili bean lover DO NOT GET they are sweet beans not horrible but not my favorite. Of course tried the feast for two it was about 96 dollars in total. LOTS of leftovers BEST BIRTHDAY DINNER

What a gem! We went to Fresno traveling from Yosemite to Sequoia and wound up here for dinner. The service was great, food was outstanding, and ambience was nice. As Dutch tourists, this was a spectacular American experience. We had the feast for two with brisket, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, corn bread, broccoli, and famous fries. Served on a trash bin lid, it could not have been better. The brisket, ribs, and chicken were all amazing. The sides were good but nothing special there, we came and stayed for the meat, of course.

Excellent service, and a great variety of BBQ. My wife and I ordered one of there feast platters, and let me tell you everything was delicious. There was so much food, we both had enough for lunch the next day.

I was have a bad day so I decided to stop and get something to eat on my way home. I sat at a table and my server was Krys her customer service skills were so wonderful and made me feel so much better. Her service was on point and made it for a very wonderful experience and actually made my day a better day. I would like to think. Krys for the great service and turning my day around your attention to detail is what made the difference

We had an amazing experience at Famous Dave’s, and it was all thanks to Ray! From the moment we sat down, he brought such a great personality to our table. He was friendly, fast, respectful, and always made sure me and my family were doing okay and had everything we needed. His positive attitude truly made our dining experience even better.
It later came to my attention that Ray is actually a manager, and that made me even more impressed. Not only was he taking great care of us, but I noticed how he was leading his team throughout the restaurant. He was helping his staff, supporting them, and making sure not just our table — but every table — was taken care of. You could really see his leadership in action.
Famous Dave’s, you truly have an amazing employee. You are blessed to have someone like Ray on your team representing your restaurant. Because of the outstanding service and leadership he showed, I highly recommend Famous Dave’s. 10 out of 10 — completely out of the ballpark! We will definitely be back!

Best BBQ around. The closest is 11 miles and I will travel anytime just to get this Que. My family will gift card Dave’s because they know it’s the best and my favorite BBQ.

the meats were good but DRY . Idk what was wrong w the cook this day. we got the feast plate for 2 the only thing I didn’t like was the coleslaw and the corn . The tri tip was dry too but good.same w the ribs good but dryyyy as heck . The service was ok we had “famous hope “ lol and I had to wait like 15 min to get a refill but other than that she was super nice , not super attentive though .

Famous Daves is one of my favorite joints to eat at. The bar b que is nice n tender, Rib Tips are my go to. The servers are friendly and prompt they never miss a beat. My boy Chavo at the bar can serve you up some good drinks. I highly recommend to eat there when you are in river park area. -Amber
