Absolutely incredible new spot in the valley for authentic northern thai food. Their Khao Soi is a warm comfort meal bursting with flavor and will transport you to energetic streets of Chiang Mai. This family business deserves all the support, the care and love they put into their food is evident and definitely a must try in the city- 1000000000/10

The worst Thai food I’ve had !!! I came because on Google the outdoor seating looked cuter than it is. I thought the outdoor seating was in the back but u actually get to sit in parking lot next to car noises and smells. I ordered a panang that was almost all coconut milk, rice was extra ($4.5!! And probably the cheapest thing they buy from the restaurant depo) BTW and doesn’t come with the curry, I’m not sure how u can enjoy curry without rice.

They call them drunken noodles because there’s supposed to be so much sauce that the noodles are drunk on it. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice is not deveined so to be quite literal, it’s shitty. I asked for a side of sriracha and lime in the notes on the dish and on the order itself and they missed both. I’m not mad just disappointed.

Food is fine but they rip you off with Uber Eats
B1G1. They give you two super tiny half portions in two separate containers. Even if this was one meal I would be furious! Highway robbery.

A small little place to get some decent Thai food. Pretty large dishes, so if you want to try a lot of food, bring friends or family.

Our waiter was very attentive, but was definitely a new hire learning the menu. There was a mix-up between the Tom Yum soup/noodle soup in which we received the former when we ordered, and confirmed it to be the latter. All was resolved though, as we just asked if we could have noodles added— which didn’t make it the same dish, but it was alright.
The kitchen staff were a little bit intense and short-spoken but were hospitable to some degree. The kitchen did take a long time to get dishes out, especially the coconuts we ordered (which were refrigerated and ready to be taken out relatively quickly).

The Khao Soi was definitely not what I expected; The chicken was simply chopped chicken meat, similar to what you’d find in phở gà, contrary to the flavorful chicken leg I’ve seen used. The soup broth was reminiscent of a butternut squash soup— which was extremely unexpected.
Our Pad Thai was decent, and wasn’t overpoweringly sweet like the ones I’ve had recently, and right around the quality I expected.
The Pad See Ew was excellent, but there isn’t much to comment there; it’s a decent dish, no more and no less.
Although the Tom Yum “noodle” soup wasn’t exactly what was ordered, the soup was nice, and the noodles had a good bite to them (came out steaming fresh in a bowl on the side after the mishap).

Do be aware that most of the drinks do not come with refills and those that do only qualify for a single refill.

I would have to say it’s not easy to find this place for people who’s coming for the first time. Because it’s inside an ally with no signs at the entrance.

But the food is worth it.
I ordered the special Khao Soi Thai Curry with rice noodle and chicken.
Very delicious.
The service is professional and nice.

Do bring your vaccination card! They make sure to check every time. Also, you need to wear a mask when not eating.

Honestly, those guys are so cool. Their food is so good. I really enjoy it. Disregard all the bad reviews cause then people haters. Love the soups get it with extra spicy. You won’t regret it or maybe you will hee hee. Looking forward to going back to try the Larb. I was very very surprised how good it was and I was so hungry and I just kept on ordering because of how good it was wish I tried more things and I wish I tried the sticky mango rice.

For friends who value cleanliness in a restaurant, avoid this place. It was a terrible experience—dirty utensils, and even after replacing them twice, there were still greasy fingerprints on them. The owner’s attitude was extremely rude. When I suggested that they check the utensils for cleanliness before serving, she was very hostile and refused to accept my advice. She said the dirty utensils were the machine’s fault, not theirs, and added, “I’ll just replace them for you.” I was simply trying to offer constructive feedback, and there was no need to treat a customer so harshly. Oh, and I ordered a cup of coffee, and there was broccoli in it—despite the fact that none of the food we ordered contained broccoli.

Finding Northern Thai dishes outside of Thailand is tricky. While khao soi can be found, it usually isn’t very good.

I am so happy that we found this place. It’s an hour from our house but worth it! I wish there was more Northern food here but until then, I’m glad to have this place to share with friends!

Of course rice to go with leftovers! Excellent rice.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food. The portion sizes are MASSIVE so make sure you are ordering to share. They had no problem with making me a small batch of Prik Nam Pla upon request for free as well. We arrived at 9 (they close at 9:30), our host told us not to worry and that we should not rush; I was incredibly surprised by the hospitality. They went above and beyond. Overall it was a really great experience, we will definitely be back.

We ordered 1x fried chicken, 1x chicken khao soi, and 1x vege pineapple fried rice. I’m serious about the portion sizes. The chicken was crispy, garlicy, umami flavoured heaven served with a side of Thai sweet chili sauce; 4 large thighs and a large leg. The Khao Soi was savoury and rich, I’m very happy to have finally found a curry + coconut based soup that isn’t sour. the pineapple fried rice was packed full of veg, perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor, Uncle Roger would be happy lol.
