The Mexican food is outstanding bold, authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned meats, and generous portions. And somehow they also nail the pizza too, which is no easy feat. Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, burritos, or a slice, you cannot go wrong.
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s clear they take pride in their food and their customers.
If you’re sleeping on La Tentación, stop now and go. This place is a must-try and easily one of the best hidden gems in the area. Westville is lucky to have them!
And I cant get enough of their mango agua fresca. My friend really likes the horchata too.
Also! I ran in for pick up and while the inside is well decorated year round, the extra Christmas decorations they have up right now are so nice! The staff is always very friendly as well.
Can’t wait to order more, I want to try everything on the menu!
We had coconut shrimp, chips and guac and garlic parm wings! Entrees were birria tacos, shrimp tacos, sopecitos with carnitas and tacos el pastor! Everything was flavorful, presented well and the staff was super friendly!
Service was fast and top notch, the waitress was friendly and attentive. The carne asada fries were insanely good. Despite all of the toppings the fries were crispy, and the steak was flavorful and tender.
The horchata and hibiscus drink were both excellent, flavorful without being super sweet.
The al pastor tacos were okay, I know they can do better because I’ve had amazing al pastor from here. It was a bit dry. I think my fiancee ordered a chimichanga, it was huge and she loved it.
We really enjoyed this as a reasonably priced Mexican restaurant and would come back.
I got chips and beans as well as a chicken chimichunga. It says the beans come with cheese on top. I don’t know why I didn’t take a picture but there was probably a gram on top. It looked like 4 small shreds in the middle. Its like whats the point of even putting that on there. The chips were pretty hard. They didnt taste stale or bad but it was hard. Maybe thats the style of chip. I wasnt expecting it. If so its not my cup of tea. They are terrible. The beans were just okay. Not really the flavor I would expect either. The chimichunga was warm to touch on the bottom of the container but I could see cheese was put on top and not melted. Sure enough it needed to be heated. In all fairness it was delivered from there to the truck stop in West Deptford. There was time for it to cool down a bit.
This was the redemption of the meal. It tastes great. It was a good size and packed with meat.
I have ate here before but only had pizza and appetizers. This is the first time trying the Mexican food. I will give it a shot again in the future and see if we can raise that score a bit.
The restaurant was pretty full for a Saturday afternoon.
Music playing, nice atmosphere.
The tacos were good, and the shrimp were also pretty good! No complaints.
Sorry, no photos, we ate in the road.
