La Rôtisserie d’Argent

Social Profile:

Centuries-old quayside emblem of upscale French cuisine famed for its house special, pressed duck.

As a big fan of duck I found this restaurant of the highest quality. The foie gras was delicious with all elements enhancing the taste, the “duck assortment” was sublime and creative, and their specialty Île Flottante was a fantastic end to a great meal.

Service was also top class. Friendly and warm which was reflected in a relaxed atmosphere, a great place to eat!

Confit de Veau: “old time” vegetables of unknown origin, mysterious brown sauce, very tart pickled onions. The veal itself was nice. Ate 2/3 of the dish and gave up.
Ordered a white Beaujolais which they were out of—shouldn’t it have been removed from the menu? The Beaujolais Nouveau alternative was delicious, 2025 is an outstanding vintage.
Waiter forgot my salad.
Bread brought when I was half way through my meal.
OK, if a place carries the Tour d’Argent name one would expect better service…SERIOUSLY!
Great location but no view comparable to the one at the « mother » establishment.
Experiences like this makes me lean to ethnic alternatives of which there are many.

Its recommended to book in advance to come in this restaurant. The food was unbelievably good! The chicken was amazing. Next time will look to order the duck

A French friend recommended this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed a fantastic meal — the escargots were rich and perfectly cooked, the duck terrine was outstanding, and both the half chicken and duck confit were juicy, tender, and full of flavor.

The staff were friendly and polite, making the experience even better. The location is excellent as well, right by the River Seine and just a short walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral. Highly recommended!

A wonderful French restaurant with an excellent selection of dishes. I absolutely loved the beef tartare and the escargots – both were outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and always smiling, which makes the atmosphere even more welcoming. It’s the kind of place where every detail, from the food to the service, makes you want to come back again

What a wonderful place , the food was out of this world . Everything tasted like a dream . Hocine was just the most amazing waiter and I can say without a doubt that this restaurant is my favorite in Paris. Do yourself a favor and try it , you’ll be impressed.

We thought we were going to the upper level but got the street side version. A bit disappointing at the 7:30 reservation- the sun was hot and bright and it was hot.
You are between the bridge and the road.

Spent about $90 per person

It is completely outside. So if it’s cold, plan on being cold. If it’s hot, plan on being VERY hot.

The whole duck is why you go here. The breast was moist with a crunchy skin. The legs were fabulous!

I would recommend this place but understand that this is not fancy.

I can’t comment on that wine because I am not very familiar European wine. We were recommended a Rhône wine with the duck, but it tasted Pinot which is not my favorite.

Menu is limited.

Deserts are limited.

Pricing is moderate. About $80 a person to eat here- is it worth it? Meh. Maybe for the duck but overall if given another opportunity ai would probably try something else.

We came all the way from Tokyo to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday, and this restaurant was the perfect finale to our trip. While we’ve visited Tour d’Argent Tokyo before and hoped to dine at the Paris location, it’s closed on Sundays. Thankfully, we booked this sister restaurant and had a wonderful evening.
Our server Karim(i’m not sure his name spelling) delivered exceptional service.
Every dish and wine pairing exceeded our expectations. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends visiting Paris.

They know what they do and do it good. You can find there some classic of the french cuisine. Well cooked, good seasoning.
The atmosphere is very french bistro with a good quality service.
My beef Filet was perfectly cooked and the pepper sauce was divine. Super crispy french fries.
The bread basket with there own baguette is the kind of details that make the difference.
I highly recommend the place.

This brasserie is a gem for authentic classic French cuisine. Located next to a Michelin-starred restaurant under the same ownership, it offers an exceptional dining experience with beautifully crafted classic French dishes. We enjoyed the s
Egg starter, duck and beef, both of which were absolutely delicious. The egg dish was especially stunning—a true work of art. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of traditional French flavors at the highest level!
