I was there in June of last year. I was there to meet someone, but couldn’t interact with him much because he was working security. He recommended the wings and OMG were they delicious. The atmosphere was very grown and sexy. I am a hookah queen so of course I had to get the hookah. Whoever made the hookah did an excellent job. My flavor lasted for about two hours. I will definitely be back

Last night me and my fiancee went to the 8th Street Lounge. We had a ok time. The atmosphere was pretty chill it reminded me of a sports bar, with a DJ slash hookah lounge. So it’s alot going on. However it’s real chill. Now the food is on point definitely a 5 out of 5. I had the oxtail rasta pasta and the fried deviled eggs with grilled salmon. My fiancee had the vegetarian fried rice. And carrot cake for dessert. So they didn’t miss with the food. However 2 things our server was good, although sometimes we had to go searching for her. Which is not good when it’s time to pay the bill. Because someone could just dine and dash. Also the selection of music coming from the DJ at a bar with a mainly older crowd shouldn’t play such young juvenile music. It should fit the age demographic that you’re serving. Other than that not a bad spot.

Everyone was accommodating and kept checking on us, it was a Sunday and we tried this location after doing brunch at another location.. Are Star Tender was PROMISE!!! She was the best .. she can make anything you can think of , And she also gave a lot of suggestions for some of us that didn’t know what they wanted .. We will definitely be going back . Thanks Lounge @Eighth!! We had a great time

When we were first seated we thought this place could be a new go-to for drinks and good vibes, but that changed by the end of the night. It didn’t change when we thought our waitress was inattentive, even though we appeared to be her only table in the restaurant seating area. Our opinion started to sway when it took an hour to get food our food even though we all had some variation of salmon dishes. Then there was an appetizer of cheesesteak egg rolls that came when the entrees were served. It went from bad to worse when 2 of our guest went to the car to grab something and upon reentry 1 of 2 was forced to pay to return. The security guard remembered seeing the one girl leave, but not the other. They informed the security that he could get our waitress and that we were at a table, but he refused to take any action except making her pay. When we informed our waitress she informed who I can only assume was the manager on duty. Now this person refunded the money, but with a nasty attitude, contradictory statements about reentry fees, and a TOTAL LACK of customer service.
Needless to say we won’t be back. You know the saying of you might tell 1-2 people about a good experience, but you’ll tell the world about a bad one… Hey world!

My Sister and I went on a Friday for Happy Hour. They had a live DJ and the atmosphere was very nice. Whoever did the decor obviously loves Delaware.. We only indulge in the cheese steak, jerk chicken egg rolls and drinks. .I will definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

My sister & brother came from out of town and decided they wanted to go here. I’m glad I went, the food was so delicious. I had the salmon cakes & grits with a side of French toast. My sister had the shrimp deviled eggs. Everything was good, my one and only negative comment is the eating utensils & drink ware. Please please upgrade to real silverware and glassware!!!! I do not like going out to nice places, paying for expensive food and get served with plastic ware like I’m a child. Other than that I can’t complain about anything else. I will most definitely be back to try other stuff on the menu!!! Keep up the great work guys!!! I want to see all Black Businesses thrive!!! The only reason they get 4 stars is because of the one complaint I had. Otherwise it would have been 5.

I went to Lounge @ Eighth last night and my experience was amazing. Food, drinks, and hookah was top tier; 5 Star ⭐️ dining experience. The customer service provided by Carla was outstanding. Carla was very attentive, polite, and quick to respond without hovering. You can tell the staff takes pride in how they treat people, not just in serving food.

Everything about this place was on point definitely a 10/10 for Me. The service was great ,the drinks and food were even better and then to top it off the vibes and music was perfect. Parking is a little crazy but not a big problem. I will definitely be making the trip again very soon
