Flew our family flyer into the Mt Airy airport for lunch at the new Cafe today. It did not disappoint! Food was great, menu was comprehensive, service was phenomenal, location and atmosphere are a hit. Total recipe for success. The new FBO is super classy and is a great place to just hang out and watch planes takeoff and land. Excited to make this our new fly-in breakfast/lunch spot favorite. Updraft Kitchen is an instant classic.

Great new restaurant at Mount Airy airport. Lots of selections on menu for breakfast or lunch. We went for breakfast and Loaded Avocado Toast was awesome. Wife had a French toast platter, and we also had some down home gravy biscuits. Can’t wait to go back! Lunch menu came out when we were leaving, gave it a look over and was some great selections, a carry over from the My Kitchen food truck is the to die for crab & shrimp burger with sweet and spicy Thai sauce. Coming back for that!
