This place has been in business for 40 yrs so far ! Same ownership!! Yummy fish, chicken and ice cream to go. Yesterday I stopped in and invested in an absolutely the best mint shake I think I’ve Ever had. And I ain’t no youngster. Smooth, slightly sweet, light green mint… but not too rich, not too sweet and not too thick to not move through the straw. Perfectly hand made shake. Cold and satisfying enough, w/o getting brain freeze. Couldn’t have been made better !!! It’s not a dine in place, it’s a get great tasting food and enjoy it wherever you are going next kinda place. Deep fried and awesome ice creams! Go there!

Okay, so this place doesn’t look like much, but give it a shot! You’ll be greeted by some of the friendliest faces in Battle Creek. Bring an appetite, especially if you plan on getting ice cream! They’re definitely not stingy with their portions and the prices are more than reasonable!

I was just there less then 20 minutes ago. I was charged more because the male that rang me up “forgot” to ring up 2 sides of gravy. The female that told me about it gave me major attitude about it.
I personally ordered a clam dinner and when I got home I had a tiny amount of clams that was NOT worth the price I paid for it.
The food was nowhere near warm even though I personally saw the food being pulled out from the fryer when I got there.
When I got there I was told that the reason I was originally told that it would take 15 minutes for my order to be ready was so they had time to START making my order.

Used to be good food back in the day. Its still ok but its now overpriced and bbq sauce taste watered down, and some of the workers there are quite rude. Recently went there today and this is how they served my meal. I asked for bbq, they handed me a regular chicken dinner, when i told them it was supposed to be bbq, the worker snatched the bag, after a couple mins she came back with a container in a bag with bbq sauce all on it. I will never go their again. I paid $14.49 for this

This place is the definition of a hole in the wall joint! Atmosphere and service were terrible but the food was amazing! We had the 8 piece family pack with baked beans and Mac and Cheese! The fried chicken is the best in town, hands down! This is gonna be my new spot for dinner when I don’t want to cook! Don’t judge this book by its cover, just go and enjoy!

I had to wait a little bit, but they made up for it. Ran out of mac and cheese, but they made up for that too. I ordered an ice cream sundae for the wait. I took a picture. I’ll figure out how to pay it, but It was very customized. Hand dip black cherry, pb and chocolate, salty caramel truffle, strawberry juice, hot fudge, and whipped cream. Yum!
