Jon Smith Subs is a great place to have lunch or an early dinner. The food is great and is prepared quickly. The menu has a large variety of subs and sandwiches- all reasonably priced. They have a few tables for outside dining. The staff ( Doreen) is very customer focused and remembers all repeat customers. Stop in – you won’t be disappointed!

If you’ve had a problem here, I’m betting you were the problem. This place was great. It doesn’t say anything about fast food. I’m out to eat daily as I work all over the state. First time being here and only seeing the stars and not the comments. I was a little concerned. It was a little bit of a wait, but there was only one person with several orders. I thought it definitely was worth the wait. Where does this bread come from? It was the best. Meat was hot and flavorful. I don’t work on this side of town often, but when I do. I’ll be eating here again.

This is the best sub shop around! Friendly and fast service and great subs. The classic steak sandwich is good and we also like their cold subs. They keep the shop spotless. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

I visited today for lunch with some co-workers. it was absolutely amazing. we all had something different. I had the steak bomb it was delicious. The customer service was great, the store was super clean.. my coworkers said we need to make this place a weekly stop:)

Everything they put in the subs is high-quality and tastes great. What makes a really good sub into a great sub though, is the bread and they have it. Delicious and melts in your mouth. I strongly recommend this place.

Excellent bread (I got the ’12 white) .. All the other ingredients were top notch. Service was great with a crew that seemed to care. I hope they’re able to keep it up. I especially liked the lettuce they used. If I would mention anything it’s that the default sandwich comes without cheese… so be aware of that and don’t do like I did and get home to realize I forgot to order cheese.. anyway great sub shop.. I’ll be back in.

I initially had trouble getting through to them on the phone and thought they might be closed. I ended up calling their other store, which was incredibly helpful. They reached out to the Ponte Vedra location on my behalf, and I soon received a call back. Despite it being a late order, the Ponte Vedra store was very accommodating.
Their bread is some of the best we’ve had in a long time, and to us, that’s one of the main things that makes a great sandwich. The meat was fresh and delicious, and the staff was exceptionally kind. I highly recommend them for their excellent food and service!
