Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I got to this whataburger at 11:47 pm in the drive-thru. They’ve checked in with me 2 times after almost 30 minutes of waiting. Asked for my order and then didn’t respond at all. I’ve spent 30 minutes in a literal drive thru and haven’t been able to order my food. Kinda crazy.

This Whataburger is my favorite one, the food tastes the best at this location. The manager is very friendly and polite, interacts well with customers and always greets customers and thanks them for thier business. Also, the lobby is always fresh and clean, well maintained restrooms and really great food!! They keep the oil clean too! My fries and onion rings are always light clean colored not overly brown or greasy tasting like burned up oil. Everything has been fast and fresh here!! Also they have a delicious Cobb salad and lots of great dipping sauces for thier chicken. And the online to go orders are on point too!! I have always had a correct order and never had an issue. The staff is always helpful and polite they constantly circle the dining room checking if everything was cooked right and if we need any salt , ketchups, or extra napkins. This location is very well ran!! I am always satisfied when I eat here. Good food and good service is hard to come by these days and this place meets a great customer experience standard.

We weren’t sure about stopping here as we were driving through town. The area isn’t great, especially at night, and we just needed a quick bite before getting back on the road. The parking lot was nearly full, but there were only a handful of people inside. The bathrooms having a keypad lock didn’t exactly ease our concerns.

That said, the staff was incredibly friendly. They gave us the bathroom code before we even ordered, and our food came out quickly. The fries were hot and tasted great.

The inside, however, could definitely use an update. I could feel a cold breeze coming through the interior wall paneling, which made the dining area uncomfortable.

I have to leave a review for the service alone. I’ve been coming here my whole life, 20+ years and this place has never disappointed. Today though, I couldn’t thank them enough. My car overheated so quickly that I didn’t notice, the lady at the window immediately let me know to get out of the car and three members came to help without hesitation. They offered to do everything necessary to get us to safety, and even comforted my children making it a smooth and happy experience. Thank you, we greatly appreciate your warmth and compassion 🙂

It was a late night trip for a very late dinner. I tried to order from the app but had issues with the payment method. In the app there was the option to have my sandwich made with Texas toast. When my wife placed the order at the window they didn’t understand the request I suppose, or maybe it isn’t a common request to order the chicken sandwich with Texas toast. The sandwich and fries were good considering I didn’t get it as I expected. Aside from the miscommunication at the drive through window all was good.

I only used the Whataburger near 11th& Peoria in Tulsa 2-3 times not exactly worth the price
But decent food I suppose
Don’t feel like an appreciated customer
But not exactly disrespected either
Nothing special about stopping in
Which is fine but being a naturally high anxiety individual
Get in place my order wait patiently and quietly and get out is all I want to do
Don’t remember name or what she looked like but Last time I visited I was told I definitely don’t look like a customer that can afford their food by some worker all because I had a coupon for free food via my Whataburger app
so definitely have not been back yet
But if y’all had more decent food options for a more reasonably affordable price and left comments to yourselves I might possibly be inclined to stop in more
