Jose, my server at Denny’s, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and taken care of. He was attentive, timely, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit. The food was delicious, and his positive attitude truly made the experience even better.
I come to this Denny’s often, and whenever Jose is my server, he never fails to provide excellent service. He brings a great energy to the restaurant, and the atmosphere always feels full of happiness and family because of servers like him. On Sunday the 15th of February 2026, my wife and I along with my two children went to Denny’s for breakfast. When we were sat we were not given the specials menu which has your 5.99 slam offerings.
I got up from the table and went to the hostess in the front and asked for the special menus. Her reply was “our manager said we are not offering this menu”. I replied “excuse me, you have the sign in your front window. We just saw the commercial on tv. This is illegal”. The hostess then replied, “well that’s what the manager said”. I then told the hostess I would like to speak to the manager and went back to my table.
A few minutes later, a bald stocky 5’10” tall man arrived at our table. I asked for his name and he refused to give it. I then proceeded to ask why that every time we come here are specials are not being offered or the menus given out with the listed and advertised specials. I told him the hostess said that “the manager” said that they were not offering the specials today. He then changed his story saying “oh you have to go up and ask for the menus” which I did and was refused them according to the Managers instructions to his staff.
This manager then proceeded after being caught in his lies refused to serve my wife and I, my 11 year old daughter and my 4 year old son and threatened to call the police. I’m a lawyer and a US Marine Corps Veteran.
This is absolutely unacceptable behavior by any employee and disgusting for any customer service based business to condone or tolerate in its establishment or operating procedures.
The fact that he, “the supposed manager” refused to give his name says it all. The store number is #7284.
If this was my manager he’d be terminated immediately.
This is not the first time this has happened. This store needs a district manager to fix what is tarnishing Dennys name in Redlands California 92373.

My only complaint is how expensive denny’s is.
For two meals and two coffees we spent $50 and that’s not including tip. Denny’s used to be a great and affordable restaurant to go to with family, but now it’s pricey.

I love coming to this dennys ! Its always such an amazing experience, my mom comes every Saturday with my grandma and I sometimes go when im in town and everytime we just have such exceptional service. Every single one of our servers are so friendly and nice you can tell they really care about their customers. Best Dennys to go to in the IE !
