Do not rely on the hours listed on the website or the front door. I tried to order takeout several times with a group, but no one ever answered the phone. I even drove there on two separate occasions, only to find the place locked up. I’ve only had the chance to try the food once, which was decent, but if you can’t depend on the hours listed, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time.

This restaurant is now under new ownership, but is still great Canadian Poutine with squeaky cheese. The new owner is great, and there are many menu options. Definitely worth a try! The buffalo poutine is my favorite, and my husband loves the original. My daughter ordered fries with original chicken. For some reason google isn’t allowing me to add my photo’s.

Honestly the best poutine I’ve ever tried. We got the regular poutine and the Philly cheesesteak. Both were amazing. Definitely get a lot of food for the money. The large was over 3lbs. The medium was 2lbs

We wanted takeout and poutine is my favorite dish and I’ve had it everywhere around here up until now when I heard about this wonderful establishment. I got a Large poutine and didn’t regret not one bite. 11/10 deliciousness. From gravy to fries!!!!! Will be back again for sure!

I ordered the classic poutine to get a good baseline of the food here.
The fries came out hot and just crispy enough to hold up to the gravy. The fries looked to be layered in with gravy, meaning they added gravy as they added fries, making sure to coat all the fries in gravy. The gravy itself had good flavor and had a good consistency that didn’t oversaturate the fries quickly, nor did it act congealed. The cheese curds were fresh, like squeaky fresh! They were just beginning to soften up when the food was served, so they weren’t just cold lumps being added to the top of the fries. On the contrary, they were layered in like the gravy.
The store has seating available, was clean, and was comfortable. The total wait time for food was less than 10 minutes during the lunch hour. Beverages offered there are typical canned varieties of soda, water, etc…
Overall, it was fantastic poutine and we look forward to coming back!

I was disappointed but not overly so because I didn’t have high expectations to begin with; the sign said “Authentic Poutine” but it tasted no different then any other in town, possibly worse. The cheese was not melted at all, not much gravy. These are cheaper ingredients so I was surprised when my small order could literally fit in the palm of my hand. It appears to me the price point is much higher because its not diversified at all so your paying more for less. It would appear the fries, gravy and cheese come off the same Sysco truck that serves every other restaurant in town. I don’t see this place lasting. I really hate giving bad reviews to shops knowing the impact it can have. this is a highly critical review, but it was still good and edible, good service.

Hands down Best Poutine in Plattsburgh! I ordered the Montreal Smoked Meat Poutine and it was so delish! It was as great as any I’ve had in Quebec. The Squeaky Fresh Cheese Curds are the clincher for me.
I also ordered the Mild Wings. They were so Big and Plump and the Flavor and Spice of the Sauce was amazing.
I can’t wait to try the rest of the offerings on the menu.

We’ve been to some awesome places in Montreal for poutine…. This is the BEST and most authentic poutine outside of Canada. The owner is awesome and loves what he does. My husband has been probably 6 times in the past 2 weeks! Fantastic.
