Telway Hamburgers is a Detroit Staple. Their sliders are very flavorful and reasonably priced. They’re kind of like White Castles but a little bigger and the bun is softer.
When I return, I want to try something else. By reading some of the other reviews, there were tags of many other items, such as their donuts and fish sandwiches.
Keep in mind that you cannot dine in and you order from behind bulletproof glass, which is not surprising being it’s not in the nicest area and open 24 hours.
Overall, this place is a Detroit staple that has really good sliders and definitely worth the price.

Customer service was great! But the food, not so much. The slider has no meat on it, and the fries didn’t have much cheese.

29 years ago this was a great spot to stop and soak up a night of bad decisions for the drive home while the birds started chirping. Glad to see it’s still in business.

Horrible food! Do NOT believe the good reviews. I don’t know how anyone could praise the food. Wish I had taken photos, because it’s hard to explain how unappetizing the food looked. The burger was half the size of the bun, and the bun looks like it had been stepped on. Based on the smell in the waiting area, most of the patrons are probably high, which might somewhat explain the rave reviews. AVOID at all costs

Both Double hamburgers were single patty. The other bun half is the imprint from the single patty not the other patty. Their patties are almost invisible. I’m done with this place. As others have said they are cheating people on the meat!

I have visited telway over the years and was very satisfied but I recently stop by to grap some burgers and was NOT satisfied. There was very little meat on the burger. I felt like the old lady from the Wendy’s commercial; where’s the beef? The patty was small and didn’t cover the buns at all.

Old-school style slider joint that doesn’t hurt my wallet. The sliders were pretty decent but I think the real star was the chilli cheese fries and normally I’m not a chilli cheese fry person. The coney dogs were good but kind of missing that “snap” I was looking for. There was plenty of parking..Quick friendly service and great prices! I will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming to this place for decades—since I was a little girl—and it’s always held a special place in my heart. Their coffee is hands down the best in town! Just yesterday, I sent my son in to grab us some burgers since I was in my pajamas and didn’t feel like going in myself. It was packed (which speaks to how popular they are), but I was pretty disappointed that the burgers were cold—as if they’d been sitting out since the day before. There was no warmth to them at all. I didn’t go back to complain, just ended up feeding them to the birds. Still, I’ll always have love for this spot and I’m hoping it was just an off day. Everyone deserves a second chance.

The cheeseburger was cold the cheese wasn’t even melted. The burgers where probably pre-made. And it was opened as soon as I got it. Wasn’t worth the drive. Wasn’t much meat on the double about half a handful of fries and a small drink wasn’t worth the price. White castle is better and cheaper.
