We had never been here as we’re from Ft. Hood area. Was for an 80th bday celebration, roughly 30 people in total. This place is a gem in this small town!
The atmosphere was warm, fun and vibrant.
The place was clean, from the outside on in.
The foood was sooo goood! Lol. I had the chicken nachos. Like each chip was intentionally placed and built. The CHIP was good!! Kitchen is on point with the cooking and prompt!
Our server’s “Nathan & Alex” were very, very professional and boy let me tell you they were ON THEIR GAME! The attention to the detail of Roughly 30 people was top notch. No drinks ran dry. No chips went empty. I watched them coordinate and collaborate like a well oiled machine. Fast. Impressive. Nathan had a comical energy that made things fun which is always nice.
All staff & Management we’re very respectful and attentive.

We had an amazing experience thanks to the bartender John Cameron Hall! From the moment we sat down, they were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The margaritas were absolutely on point — perfectly balanced and made with care. You can tell they really know their craft.

Great esthetic. Very friendly service. The chips, salsa, queso & cremains verdi sauce were good. I am glad I asked if the beans or rice were vegetarian because they are not (lard in beans and chicken broth in rice). Margs were good and not light on the tequila. Our server was new in training and did a good job.

The food itself was exceptional. My wife ordered the fajita salad, and I had the Santa Cruz. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. Even as the meal cooled, the flavors remained rich and delicious — a true testament to the quality and preparation.
What really stood out was the manager, Yailin, who made a point to visit tables and ensure everyone was having a great experience. The combination of attentive management and excellent service made the entire evening memorable.

I had a great experience at El Toro, and a big part of that was thanks to Destiny! From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked in at just the right times, and had such a positive attitude the entire evening.
Destiny really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and made us feel genuinely valued as customers. It’s rare to find service that stands out this much, but she definitely did.
