We returned on 12-08-25 to celebrate my wife’s 55th birthday. She had a craving for the Lemon Pepper Trout. Our serve Free was awesome and really attentive to our needs. And on our exit Mya the retail cashier was super kind as well these two young ladies went above and beyond for me and my family as we celebrated my wife’s 55th birthday. I am very appreciative. The food was garbage,Came to this location for a lunch meal,I had tea my wife had lunch. The first thing I noticed was the dirty dishes on the 2 tables as we were sat next to them. The restaurant was close to empty at best with a few people.My wife ask for meatloaf but was told that that they were out of meatloaf. I was brought a cup of hot water,1 tea bag. I asked the waitress for honey and she brought out 1 tiny honey package and she made sure to tell me that she heated it up. However we did have entertainment,as we watched the young lady in the kitchen bust out her best dance moves and the dirty dishes hung out in the background like backup dancers. I have over 100,000 followers,if I could give any of them advice. Go somewhere else,maybe IHOP,or waffle House will be a better option. Out of all fairness their are good waitresses at this location Amber in my opinion is not one of them. The corporate office need to review the cameras from the dining room,and kitchen area for Sunday Nov2 between 545am 630 am. I’ve been in charge of 55,000 personel at one time. Becoming to friendly with employees gives them a false since of security as lack of respect begins to arise. Training ,Training, Training is needed at this location. Gravy should never be clumpy,it’s nothing to add 212 degrees of hot water to it. The gravy was the texture of peanut butter (THICK). The chicken fried steak was (OVERCOOKED).

I had such a great experience at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, and Jewel made it even better! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a genuine smile and such a welcoming attitude. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does.
As our server, Jewel was attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient. She made sure our drinks stayed full, our food came out just right, and she checked in at the perfect times without ever making us feel rushed. Her positive energy really stood out and made our meal feel special.
Customer service like hers is hard to find. Jewel is definitely an asset to the Hacks Cross location, and we’ll be hoping to see her again on our next visit!

$17!!!! For this garbage? YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO WONT SEE THE FOOD UNTIL THEY GET HOME. Cheap. Lazy. Not the Cracker Barrel I grew up with. Not worth the money or the time. Not southern comfort food. Absolutely garbage. Spend your money somewhere else. Just LOOK at this! $17!?!?! Terrible value, greedy people. Won’t be back. Should’ve ordered Perkins.

Cracker Barrel’s Catering made our company Christmas party perfect. I placed the order and confirmed it 2 days before. When we arrived to pick it up everything was boxed up in sturdy boxes. Everything was hot and fresh. So many compliments and only one complaint. (Always a Karen in the group and we can never please her lol) Thanks again and just a note that when they say it serves 10 that is10 line backers or teenage boys. We had so much food and we loved it. The employees were so nice and loaded my car for me. We will order again for sure and Merry Christmas everyone!!

We visited this location on July 27th and arrived at 10:18am. Not even half the restaurant was full. I will be brief, but the remainder of my comments should sum it up.
Arrival time: 10:18
Food on table: 11:31
Table: Dirty
Glassware: Dirty
Eggs: Cold
Bacon: Undercooked
Pancakes: Warm, but had an egg shell stuck to them (cross-contamination, anyone?)
The staff seemed to be trying with reasonable effort, but it is clear that there is something very wrong with how this location is run. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Do not waste your time and money here.

This is still the better Cracker Barrel. My family and I went to celebrate birthday’s. My pot pie with a hash brown topping taste better, than it looked. The waitress gave us refills. She gave us coca cola chocolate cake warmed. It taste better than the cake we brought. Everything was cooked fresh and hot. My only complaint was the lack of cleaning staff for tables. N TN people are quick to say it’s not their job. I saw women workers standing around. It was sad to see the table dirty over 30 minutes and the customers had already left.

This is the worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to. This is my 3rd time coming here. Usually the service is slow even when the restaurant is empty. I go back because usually the food is ok. This time it was horrible. The fish tasted like it was cooked in old oil. My grandson wanted to try the coke cake and the server said they didn’t have any. I noticed that you do address negative reviews but that is just talk. Plenty of people have commented on the same thing and nothing has changed. Our food was almost $40.00. totally not worth it. I definitely not go back.

I ordered the chicken and dumplings that were absolutely disgusting and too salty. The green beans and corn were salty as well. The biscuits were cold and hard. I’m quite sure they were left over from breakfast!!! The waitress brought out “fresh” biscuits but they weren’t any better. I sent all of my food back. It’s obvious that Cracker Barrel puts more love into their breakfast than lunch and dinner. I was very disappointed. Our server was very sweet. Do better Cracker Barrel!!!

My birthday lunch day! Was seated by the window in the back corner wall while there was plenty of room in the middle of the restaurant.
Seated by a long table of young ladies who were done with their meal but obviously waiting on something.
The server addressed them a couple of times but never came to our table to greet us or ask what we wanted to drink.
We waited for about 15 minutes.
We decided to leave after I witnessed the server still focused on the large group at the long table as she paces from one side of the kitchen to the next.
As my husband and I are leaving, I inquire about a clock that we were interested in at the shop.
A kitchen employee with a hair net on her hair is walking up as we are talking with the cashier.
I instantly knew that she thought we were with that group of young ladies.
But held her peace as she listened to our conversation.
No dine n dash for us.
We never received a greeting or a cup of water. Left the menus on the table.
We went to Longhorn.
