Unfortunately the worst Chinese food I’ve ever ordered. I got sesame chicken and it came with an egg roll. The chicken was chewy, stringy, and overcooked. The smell of the entire dish was off, it tasted and smelled rancid. And the egg roll smelled and looked like it had been re-heated 10 times. I didn’t even try the rice because it smelled so bad.

I would like to share my experience with Jade kitchen 2 since me and my wife moved out here. It’s been very difficult to find some decent Chinese food in general being from New York and Philadelphia. It’s really hard to find Chinese food that taste like how it does up north. I will say since trying almost all of the Chinese food restaurants out here in Monroe, and the surrounding areas Jade kitchen 2 is our new go to spot. I definitely would recommend the house fried rice, chicken, wings, sesame chicken, wontons, crab rangoons, and the eggrolls. I haven’t tried any of the other menu items, but I’m glad I found this spot. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant inside is clean. Give them a try and let me know what y’all think.

The food here used to be good, but I’m not sure what happened. There may have been a Chinese person in the restaurant but they were not the ones cooking the food this time. NASTY!

I ordered chow mein with veggies and grilled chicken. The vegetables were drowning in water and the noodles were dry. The chicken was cut so small and they’re was hardly any. The food was tasteless except the chicken. And the onions. There was so many onions and I love onions but today I did not love them. 1/10 the only reason I give it a 1 is because the chicken what little I had tasted good.

Ordered online, 20 mins later I walked in to receive my order. Told him my name and he didn’t know anything about my order. Then said we don’t have chicken ( at a Chinese restaurant) and the just refunded my money. Overall a waste of time.

I ordered Sesame Chicken with Pork fried rice. The chicken was dry and stringy. The rice seemed way overcooked. For the price I paid I was disappointed.

A lot of these Chinese food restaurants are getting lazy when it comes to “FRIED RICE”. Especially this store after Covid. They are advertising fried rice, but really have steamed rice in a rice cooker & throw some soy sauce on it for color. That’s not’s fried rice. It don’t have that fried wok taste either. The rice is soft & it’s not good. BRING BACK REAL FRIED RICE!

I’m sad to write such a bad review because Jade Kitchen used to be really good. We have been coming here for years and we always loved it. It’s been awhile since we’ve ordered, but decided to order tonight and it was terrible. The only positive is that it was ready on time. The broth for the wonton soup was so salty. My son (who is not picky!) couldn’t even finish it which says a lot. The fried rice was not good. It lacked flavor, was a little mushy and tasted like cooking oil. The lo mein wasn’t the best either. We also requested white sauce for our chicken and broccoli and we got brown sauce instead. And lastly, the egg rolls were so small! They were nothing to write home about. Very disappointed with the food and unfortunately won’t be going back. Also, no one seemed enthused to be working there. And to top it off, everything is $3-$4 more than it used to be and yet quality has gone down as well as portions. Sadly I won’t be going back. Wish I could get a refund because it was a waste of $30, sadly. I hope they will take these reviews to heart and bring back their quality.
