As we encountered this restaurant, we ate here every day.

The mixed fish and meat platters are very delicious. One platter is enough for two, and the price is totally reasonable.

The octopus was amazing as well. Personally, I just did not really like the desserts.

What I also love about this restaurant is that they don’t try to feed you a lot of sides.

The portions are good, so you only get a bit of potato, which is perfect in my opinion.

It can be quite full, so better get here early. The restaurant itself is packed, but the staff does everything to make it a pleasant experience.

It is a must-visit if you are in Lisbon.

This visit to the restaurant was a wonderful surprise. Located in a small town in Spain, the seafood here is extremely fresh, especially the fish and the octopus, which were truly impressive. The octopus is prepared in a very special way — simple yet exceptional. With just salt and olive oil, the chef brings out the natural freshness and flavor of the ingredients, showing great confidence in the quality of the produce.
The whole dining experience made the town itself feel unique, peaceful, and full of local character. If you ever come here, I highly recommend trying this restaurant, and I hope to introduce more people to discover this special place.

Very disappointed 가지 마

We arrived around 2:50 pm and were welcomed in by the staff. We sat down and ordered immediately. At that point, we were informed that there was no squid and no octopus available. We understood and followed the waiter’s recommendation to order the mixed fish instead.

However, the problem started when the dish arrived. The mixed fish plate contained duplicate fish, and we were not informed of this beforehand. There were no sardines and no black fish included, which we only realised and being told when the plate was served in front of us..

If we had been told earlier that certain fish were unavailable, we could have chosen a different option, declined the dish, or left. Instead, we paid €17 for what was essentially salmon fillets, which made us feel disappointed and misled as customers.

On top of that, the fish was not really hot when served, which added to the disappointment, especially given how highly rated this shop is.

Clear communication and food quality would have made a big difference to this experience.

I will start with a kudos to the waiter who was very attentive and kind! For the food. portions are really big: the fish platter was very rich and the sardine was one of the best that I’ve had. The meat platter was average, beef was a bit chewy. Potatoes were served as sides and salad can be ordered separately.

This place is a true gem! They have the best cod in town! Was grilled perfectly and spiced perfectly! Tried cod somewhere else and it was horrible. We definitely will be back!

This was our first meal in Portugal. It set the bar high! It was delicious and very affordable. Service was also great. The restaurant was busy, but didn’t feel overwhelming. They only open for lunch, so be sure to plan accordingly!

In an busy tourist area where half of the menus are exactly the same, this place stands out as an authenticate experience. We got here halfway through the lunch rush so some items were sold out but they were up front about it prior to seating. We had the squid and sardines and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Simple menu for seafood and meat. They got squid, cod, octopus, and sardines (their specialty). Sardines were well seasoned and the soup of the day was decent but wouldn’t get the soup again. Small place so reservations are recommended.

The fish was very fresh and well prepared. I especially recommend the mixed fish platter — a nice variety and everything cooked just right. Service was good and the atmosphere pleasant.

Mercia made our dinner truly special. She was incredibly kind and attentive!
The balance between price and quality is excellent, and the house white wine was amazing.
Highly recommend this place!
