Great atmosphere, we sat on the porch which was covered and had rustic walls and twinkle lights. The food was fantastic. I took the pics after we started eating…so just know the original presentation was much better than what I am sharing. The bread is fresh made…sooo good. The shrimp scampi was delicious and we were able to get gluten free pasta. The chickpea soup was very flavorful and satisfying. The pistachio cheesecake was out of this world. My sister enjoyed her food as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Great service as well.

My boyfriend and I were super excited to try this place after seeing it all over TikTok. Sadly, the service really missed the mark for us.
We ordered gnocchi, lasagna, and bread as an appetizer, but the bread didn’t show up until after our meals were already on the table. We had to flag our server down to get it, and by the time we finished the bread, our food had gone cold from just sitting there. I’m a server myself, so I totally get how busy restaurant can get, but she never came back to check on us or refill our drinks.
The food actually tasted delicious even though it was cold, and we didn’t want to send it back because we figured it would just get microwaved. I’d still say the food is worth trying, and hopefully you’ll have better service than we did. We’ll probably give it another shot in the future.

We had our baby shower here and it was absolutely magical in every single way. The staff is absolutely top tier — incredible people and a well-oiled machine. They communicated so well and made the experience perfect for every guest. The overall accommodations for the event were also absolutely perfect. Decor, tables, setup — everything was stunning and all of our guests were thoroughly impressed. To top it all off, the food was amazing as always. 10000/10, we cannot say enough good things about this place!

My wife and I took a short trip from Tampa to Gulfport to look at the little art galleries and shops. She had eaten lunch at Pia’s before, so we decided to try it for dinner. It is a very large restaurant and there is seating inside, outside in a covered area, and even outside without any cover. The service was very good and the food was excellent. The bread is to die for. And they make a salad dressing of their own that is killer. I had the eggplant Parmesan and my wife had shrimp scampi and both were delicious. We highly recommend Pia’s after visiting the art galleries. Or before, if you prefer to do it that way, lol.

My FAVORITE restaurant we went to while staying in St Petersburg. We were able to eat on the Veranda Wednesday night around 6:30 with no wait time and the atmosphere was amazing. Our server was kind enough to take a few photos and the food was so tasty! With the music and atmosphere, I felt like I was in a little restaurant in Italy. If we ever come back to the area, this will always be a must!

Let me start by saying we had heard so many amazing things about Pia’s, so for my partners birthday dinner this year I made a reservation. The place is absolutely beautiful, however the service and food was lacking, the best part of the meal were the drinks, they were wonderful as well as the bruschetta. The hostesses at the front were very warm and welcoming, however our waiter seemed like he could not care less to be there or not. I watched others around us getting extraordinary service and almost felt like a nuisance to him to stop by. We did order 2 starters and only received one. Thinking since it was a busy night, maybe they were taking a little longer to make the salad fresh, so we waited. By the time our entrees come out, we ask if we can still get the salad. The waiter did not apologize but he did say, I did not charge for it, do you still want it?….yes, we ordered it. He then brought it out to our table immediately, the entrees that came were mediocre at best. We ordered lasagna and chicken parm with their house made linguini, the lasagna was burnt from assuming being reheated in their cast iron skillet and the chicken parm was very obviously an old cutlet reheated. I would have never left this review and kept my feelings to myself had I not asked my partner how he felt about the experience after the fact, and he felt the exact same way. It made me sad to know he also felt like the experience was lackluster. Maybe we hit a bad night of the year, not sure, but not sure we will go back to try again. Pia’s, a Gulfport staple. Espresso martini is a must. Always expect it to be busy. They have a lot of options for an Italian place. There is truly something for everyone so have confidence in anything you order. Flavors are distinguished and well thought out. Service is always great. My favorites are the eggplant and lasagna.
