7/2024–Papadia, with only vegetables, wasn’t that great. Veggie pizza was great though. I’d recommend that. It was really good.
10-21-23–Our experience with Papa John’s this time left something to be desired. Our cheese pizza was great. Papadias were ok. But the breadsticks were atrocious. They looked like pita bread. They were flat and hard. See picture 14. But they gave them to us anyway. We took them right back. Azijah acted like she did us a favor by remaking them. The second batch was a little better. Please, if you don’t care about the quality of the food you serve, consider some other line of work. When you knowingly give customers food that you know is inferior, you just don’t care.
Papa John’s pizza is usually on point. Pizzas, chicken poppers and garlic knots were good. The Philly cheesesteak Papadia was really good. However, the little tub of marinara in this order was rancid. They might want to check their sauces more often.
4-22-23 Papa John’s pizza was great this go ’round. Garlic knots were really good. But we received rancid marinara AGAIN. Someone needs to check the cold holding temperatures…and actually use the information.

What is THIS!!!! I’ve gone to Papa Johns in the past but, I’ve NEVER seen ANYTHING like this!!! This so-called pizza was ordered 25 minutes before closing, so make sure you never make that mistake. Can you imagine getting home finally, after a long hectic day, and open your box to THIS!! Did I get the scraps that were left over?! And what on earth is wrong with this CRUST??!!! Needless to say we DID NOT EAT THIS SCRAP PIZZA!!! Money wasted!! Do better people! You get one star from me only because I can’t give you a zero!!

I’m not exactly sure how to explain this visit. I can in after ordering online and was told it wasn’t ready. Mean while I look over and see a young man and woman touching each other all over kissing and the works. Need less to say I guess I see why the food wasn’t ready. Worst worst part was that I waited another 25 minutes for the food I ordered 1 hr ago just to get home and find out the messed the order up completely. 1 of 4 pizzas were correct

The food is good. I ordered weekend of Labor Day, only one employee working, specials buy one get one free was offered. Poor girl felt so sorry for her because people were ordering A LOT OF PIZZA. This wonderful employee never faltered, kept smiling, kept restocking, kept cooking and you could tell she was exhausted. What owner does that to one of their most best employees? You look out for all employees but when you have one you know you can count on, you don’t use and abuse them. Think her name was Kristin, beautiful African American young lady. She just kept smiling..she is awesome

Updated again… Today is PI day, the most significant day for pizza promotions as far as I am concerned. I got an email from Papa John’s advertising their promotion which was buy a large specialty pizza at regular price and get a second for $3.14. I called and they are not participating. They offered me a medium cheese pizza for $3.14, not quite the same thing. Their reasoning was that they are a franchise and the email was from corporate. Well, I used to own a franchise and I didn’t always like the promotions, but my customers expected to get them. Satisfied customers are important.

Quality is inconsistent. It really depends on who is working whether you are going to like your food or not. But the food is typically ready when I order ahead and when made properly it is good pizza.

Just when I was giving up on a decent pizza place in south hill I stopped by papa John’s and met Mitzi Arthur the manager there… It was by far the best customer service that I have experienced in years… She was fast, she was polite and best of all she was friendly… I have found a place to get my pizza for now on and can only hope that she receives recognition and appreciation for her execlent and valued contribution to this organization…
