Bought 8 tacos for $12. Carne Asada, Pastor, Chicken, Carnitas. Funny enough, my female companion who is always complaining, liked them very much. I had better of each meat, but must congratulate their set up, and completely sure the flow of clientele will not suffer not even a hiccup, for these little tacos. 3 Stars.
$5 Quesadilla with Carnitas and Chicken. Yes, they were nice to accommodate both. Basically a medium size flour tortilla folded in half, as for the quesadilla part, the cheese flew back to Holland for the weekend, because this one had almost zero. I don’t think it left a long lasting impression, and $5 is such an accessible bill. I seen that approach, where they skip the most important part of an item named after cheese, but it happens in even so called reputable franchises, that suck even worst. 3 Stars. Yet reviewers in Chico embrace this hole in the wall as a rare temple of excellence. Did I miss something? Probably the whole show is what I’m thinking . Hard working people, wish them the best, but the best to be had? Or the cheapest for that matter? $17 duckies beg to differ! 3 Stars.
I only have money in cash app right now and they’re cash only, I guess…? Which sucks cuz I just walked 4 blocks to get there, barefoot in 99° weather, burning the soles of my feet off to find out they don’t accept the most majorly accepted form of payment we have in this age; debit cards. Cool.
Also, I tried to buy a drink from the shop and got kicked out for not having shoes on…? So idk if they’ll be getting a penny from me, ever. Sucks to suck.
Pricing is fair on most dishes. Tacos are an especially good deal
Edit:
I’ve upgraded to a 4 star. Over the course of a month I’ve made a point of trying other places in the area, and very few compare.
Carne asada bowl. And chicken quesadilla
Thanks for being good people. I will be back.
